Hello! Happy weekend time! How’s it going?
I didn’t get much Christmas shopping done yet this weekend – but I did manage to get myself some Chocolate Chex from the 99 so I have that going for me…
…and now it’s gone.
Also, I need your thoughts – do small bananas count as 1/2 of one?
Because I’ve been eating two at a time.
Saturday morning I got up and out to get in some good miles. I was running along enjoying my head movies and saw a Mile Marker sign. “Whaaat?! Is there a race I should be doing right this second?!” – me
Luckily a group of friendly Santa from the city of Irvine let me know the scoop. There was a Santa Run 5k going on that second! The Santas were in charge of a water station. How fun is that?!
Post run I ate and was lazy until it was time to rally.
This is the new blue dress I mentioned Friday. On second thought I don’t think it fits right so I ended up going with something else and I’m going to exchange it for another size.
Dinner involved , Vodka/OJ, Chinese food, Christmas COOKIES and M&Ms for days. It was perfection.
And today I’m chilling with Vegas contemplating life, liberty and the pursuit of Christmas shopping… we’re deep like that.
Now I have to get things together because I’m making tamales this week!!
Question: What was the BEST thing you did or ate this weekend?

I think 2 small bananas = 1 regular banana. Makes sense to me!! I had such a fun weekend so it is hard to pick a fave. I think having a lot of friends over for a cookie exchange party on Sunday wins-friends + cookies for the win!

Fabulous run with one of the girls from the run group (just 2 of us coz there were so many races this weekend) and then an evening yoga class where i heart backbends.

I have worked all weekend so I’ve eaten about half a tub of red licorice. I’m suprised I don’t have diabetes considering I’ve eaten so much candy over the last three days.

I just have to say that YES, small bananas count as 1/2 (or more like 1/4) of a real banana. In my opinion, you can NEVER eat too many bananas. They are one of my all time favorite foods, and some days I eat 4-5…and not the little ones! So go ahead, eat at least 2 at a time 😉

Probably my homemade chocolate chip cookies. I was going to make something fancy and Chrsitmasy, but I really just wanted plain old chocolate chips. I just did my CPR training this afternoon and rewarded myself by eating the rest of them 🙂

I’m so ashamed to admit I ate a Lean Cuisine and it was the BOMB. I never eat that stuff – way way wayyyy too much sodium, but it was really good.

The best thing I did this weekend was … indulge in not doing much! For the weekend before Christmas, I was very happy to take a low key approach. I hung out with my husband, mother-in-law and puppy, and I was a very content girl 🙂

M&Ms are favorite! The peanut butter kind is seriously sinful… Have you tried the Peppermint Hersey kisses? Those are the Holiday season weakness of choice.
