I Swear It’s Because of the Drought!

Hello! How’s it going?

Hope you enjoyed my StitchFix Review yesterday. I know Vegas loves when I get a new StitchFix delivery…

Last night I headed to one of my peep’s for Girls’ Night. Sometimes we try and keep it healthy sometimes we’re like “F it. Let’s eat cupcakes on paper plates…”

Before our hang out I had a super healthy snack though. I get an “A” for this one – Laughing Cow and carrots.

Daily Run and Eat

I woke up this morning at 5:30am – no alarm, just my body’s internal clock still messing with me (at least it wasn’t 4am like Sunday). And I woke up Hungry! So breakfast required an appetizer. In this case – oatmeal was my first course…

This morning was a strength workout at home with my dumbbells and NO RUN just a long walk with my head movies. It was nice, but I’m still waiting for some Fall cool down weather.

Then, I got back and made eggs.

I put them in my dirty oatmeal bowl because there is a major drought here and I don’t want to waste water by washing it twice. (That, or I’m lazy.)

I also chugged a bunch of coconut water because again, there is a drought and I don’t to waste water. Aaaaand I feel like it’s amazingly good for you and tastes good and makes me happy today.

And now I’m going over a presentation I’m giving tomorrow at The Social Media Week conference in LA. I am ridiculously nervous because it’s not a running or healthy living conference – it’s just social media and I feel like I don’t belong. Wish me luck please!

    Did you get that green stripped tank at Costco? I have one just like it and it’s my favorite…I’m still kicking myself for not buying at least one other color.

    Water – I had wayyyyy too much coffee today, so I’m trying to do a little proper hydrating before bed.

    That StichFix box is just the right size for Vegas!

    Just plain old water. My cat loves boxes too! Whenever we go to Costco we make sure to pick up some boxes just for her.

    The last thing I drank was water because I’m currently doing a gallon of water a day challenge! Eeeeeekkkk!

    Water. Plain water from the tap. San Francisco has great tap water. But I also like VitaCoco coconut water to drink during and after cardio. And I also start my day with green tea. I throw in a lot of wine on the weekends too. 🙂 Good luck at the conference!

    Last thing I drank was water but before that was a smoothie with almond milk, strawberries, banana, pineapple, and vanilla yogurt.

    I’m currently drinking water, and before that was hot chocolate! (had a super big chocolate craving buuuut I have zero chocolate things in the house besides hot chocolate… bahh!)

      I have been a chocolate addict this week. Thankfully I have some fancy ones to enjoy because it’s way too hot for hot cocoa here.

    I’ve been drinking a ton a water. Probably not helping the drought here in CA…maybe I should switch to Tequila, wine, and beer?? Good luck on your presentation 🙂

    Good luck with your presentation! Giving talks totally stresses me out, but sometimes it’s good to turn nervousness into excitement while you’re speaking. I’m sure you’ll rock it.

    I’m drinking hot water. I drink quite a bit of water most days, but when its cold I have no interest in drinking cold water (its always cold in my office, so even 100+ degree days outdoors, I can drink hot water). During the winter I can go thru gallons of hot tea!

    Recently I’ve been into juices! They seem to help with the sugar charge to get ready to run. And… course TONS of water. The fall weather needs to hurry!

    I just drank a lemonade made with splenda. I know it’s not the best for you but YUMMMM with lemon, it totally kicks ass!

    drinkin coffee….made it in my keurig. trying to blog about my recent ragnar but it’s overwhelming me so i keep distracting myself with the Voice that I cued up on DVR.
    Good luck with your presentation. You’ll do just fine. You have star quality young lady! Work it!

    Lately, I’ve been drinking a concoction of:
    Juiced watermelon, coconut water, strawberry greek yogurt and a banana all blended with a tiny bit of ice and a spoonful of spirulina.
    It’s super healthy but it also makes me feel all kinds of tropical.
