Ice, Ice Baby

Dinner

3 Feb

Everyone was curious about my weird ice pack. Ha! I got it from Target a while back. It is actually made for icing and came in a row of four ice squares. I cut it in half so I have two of them.

One side is flat and the other has the ice squares…

Lunch was random handfuls of crackers and cheese – no pic because I didn’t expect to actually eat that much. Since I didn’t feel like I had a good meal I had a really good snack!

Greek yogurt mixed with pumpkin and sweetener and topped with crumbled muffin and almond butter. It doesn’t look good, but this could be addictive.

And before my afternoon errand I had an apple and iced coffee 🙂

I was craving a big salad bar type salad for dinner, but since it was snowing and I didn’t want to drive out to get it I warmed up chickpeas and roasted brussels. Should I change RER’s name to Run, Eat Brussel Sprouts, Repeat?

I enjoyed the very last of our Belize dark chocolate for dessert. It was good while it lasted.

Okay, I need to give all my attention to LOST. See you later!

P.S.  – Thank you all so much for all the helpful advice on my knee today. I really appreciate it and please feel free to comment away with help or personal experiences – this is all new to me.

I just bought a knee sleeve today, but I think I got the wrong one. It has velcro straps and it feels really stiff. Mayeb I should have gotten the one piece Neoprene.

Brussel sprouts! I’m still not over my traumatic childhood experience with them. I literally LOVE every other vegetable though so I’m thinking it’s about time I man up and try them out. What do you think? Should I try them roasted first? Or stirfried up with some asian veg?

I brought back a big hunk of chocolate from Belize, too — so yum!

I can’t believe how much snow we’re getting. What happened to the 1″ prediction?!
