Hello from Las Vegas! Refuel with Low Fat Chocolate Milk is sending me to the Rock N Roll Las Vegas half marathon this weekend! 
Ben and I drove here yesterday afternoon. My cat named Vegas tried to stow away in his jacket. I guess he wants to see the city he’s named after 
We caught a lot of traffic so it took longer than expected. Luckily, I had provisions…
By the time we got to the state line we were hungry and decided to hit up Primm Valley’s buffet. The casinos on state line are very old school cheesy style so I was hesitant at first. But, I was able to throw together a good meal from the buffet! A little of this, a little of that…
and A LOT of dessert!
This Black & White cookie caught my eye because it was so ridiculous. All the other desserts were small and this was HUGE! But, sometimes you need to eat a cookie the size of your face…
I also dominated this piece of carrot cake. Ben pointed out that I always seek out carrot cake at bakeries and parties and buffets. Guess I didn’t realize how much I really love it!
From the state line it’s another 50 miles until you get to Las Vegas. I spent my time reading Mockingjay!!! Hooked.
Finally we got to our hotel – the Luxor. I stay here 9 times out of 10 because it’s cheap and a good location. Plus, I love LAX’s hip hop music on Friday nights!!
Aaaaaand 26 pounds of make up and spray tan later…
I think Ben approves? (We did a little pre-gaming in the room, obviously.)

After a drink Ben and I headed to Gallery, but that was a bust so we ended up at LAX again. It’s kind of an old club now, but the music is always good! After a few hours of stuff we headed to the after party…
“Wow, this after party is dead…”
Luckily, we quickly realized we were in the elevator and just headed to our room 
Then, I realized I had my race bib bracelet on and should go for a run…
I swear that was hilarious last night… Now not so much.
Today’s plans include carb loading, a filming thing with Chocolate Milk, getting my bib and more carb loading.

I also love that cookie. Giant desserts are my favourite..which is why I own giant cupcake tins, bake cookies that take 20 minutes to cook, and love Starbucks’ giganto cookies. I swear I only ate one…
