NEW Chobani Flavors Review

Running· What Runners Eat

Hello! How’s your week?

This is a busy time of year for me so I’m on a mission to stay on top of projects. First though, I had to ‘brain storm’ for a bit outside (running).

The weather is perfect for running right now – cool, but not too cold.

Also, I randomly spotted some footprints along the side of the path I was running – someone was walking barefoot with their dog this morning! Guess it’s not really that chilly…

Breakfast was an egg, cheese and Sriracha quesadilla.

Plus huge blueberries, they were like grapes. (Note: I have huge Shaq hands so they are bigger than you’d think.)

I tried two new products yesterday – first these new-to-me Marcona Almonds with truffle salt from TJ’s. I love Marcona almonds, but these were a little weird for me at first. I don’t think my tastebuds are fancy enough for these (don’t worry I’m still eating them while I decide if I like this truffle salt…).

Two new Chobani flavors! Grape and Green Tea. I love grapes. I love green tea ice cream. I was excited to try both of these equally so I opened them both up right away.

Grape – Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. There was something the tiniest bit fake or forced about this flavor. I think grape is a hard flavor to create (see: most grape flavored candies or drinks are a little strong).

Green Tea – Liked it. Very mild green tea flavor – wish it was more green tea-y! It was very vanilla.

Question: Have you tried these flavors yet? What did you think?

Can you walk around barefoot outside where you live right now?

I actually really like the grape. Green tea not so much. The first bite was the best. After that, not so much. I too found both flavors at Target in an end cap fridge.

You can most definitely walk barefoot outdoors. Today 70° with mild rain showers…..and its January.

I actually really enjoyed the grape. I really wanted to mix some peanut butter in with it and make a PB&J!

I grabbed a green tea one the other day, but haven’t tried it yet. I didn’t see the grape one.

Definitely can’t walk around barefoot in DC, the polar vortex is in full effect! Not sure I would like the grape, but am intrigued by the green tea. I haven’t seen these around here!

    Ever done barefoot running?
It’s hot and humid over here (coz it’s past 1pm) but early mornings are great for barefoot running. 🙂

I haven’t heard of these flavors. The green tea sounds interesting. I am still loving the coconut even though I can only get it in 4-packs.

Only place I’m walking barefoot right now is the 5 steps from the bench to the pool (which is heated to 82 degrees). It’s in the 30s and 40s right now, but it’s supposed to be 70!!! this weekend, so… soon!

I’ve tried the green tea flavor and I agree, it’s a very light green tea flavor. I liked it though! I can’t find the grape flavor anywhere!

I got these two at Target. Randomly, they were in an end cap area not on the normal shelf with the other flavors.

I have a container of that grape yogurt in my fridge. I tend to not like fake grape flavored things, so I’m not really sure what prompted me to buy it…

I can totally walk barefoot outside right now, if I want to lose a toe or two to frostbite! It’s a tad chilly out.

I love Chobani – my favourite yoghurt brand! I’m not expecting to see these flavours in our stores any time soon, but you never know. My favourite flavour at the moment is coconut.

It’s all about bare feet here at the moment! Or, if really necessary, thongs. Yes, I’m an Aussie, so please interpret that appropriately 😛

I can not walk around barefoot right now bc I live in Chicago. When I lived in MD and VA I would wear my flip flops all year round, but there’s no way that is possible here 🙁

I havent seen those flavors yet, but I can’t say that I’ll run out and buy them. Not a big fan of either in general.

Those flavors don’t really excite my taste buds too much. I wonder if Chocolate Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt is an oxymoron? If not, I support Chobani making that one!!

I tried the Green Tea flavor as well and enjoyed it. I too, wish it had been a bit more Green Tea like. But still good. Thanks for your thoughts! I’d still like to give Grape a shot!

Not a fan of yogurt, I’ve never liked it all that much. Is that weird? I do like the watermelon yogurt though but mainly because my love of watermelon probably rivals yours. 😉

And, I live in Florida, so I pretty much live in bare feet. And I like it.

Chobani Grape yogurt tastes like an expired can of grape drink. I can’t get the taste out of my mouth. It says do not mix with alcohol on the cup. I think it kind of tastes like wine. I think I’d have to be drunk to eat another bite.

Definitely cannot walk around barefoot today. My poor puppy. He gets snow, ice and salt on his paw pad and he lifts it up and looks at me to fix the situation. He needs socks and shoes. LOL.

I love green tea ice cream. Maybe the Chobani frozen would be yummy?!
