Hello! My Mizuno Hitogami running shoes are way past retirement age, but I had had had to take them out for one last run before I got rid of them. Note: Yeah, I totally have a new pair – I just couldn’t part with them just yet.
So, Vegas and I had a little ceremony for some closure. RIP Running Shoes.
Last night I went out for a little Sunday Funday. I had already been playing with my hair for a coming soon blog post so I figured I’d slap on some mascara and head out.

I ran 2.5 miles this evening, right before dusk. As a novice runner (just started logging the miles this summer), this was my coldest run yet-33 degrees with a cool breeze added in. My run felt great, though. I am even more motivated to keep running outdoors this fall and winter!

I ran 6 miles yesterday and did strength training so I’m taking a complete rest day today. I haven’t had a true rest day in over a week so I’m excited to do nothing. I’m sure my dog will convince me to take her for a walk though….
