I’m headed out for a shake out run as soon as I post. I slept in so hard this morning. I needed that!! I probably got 10 hours of sleep total from Friday to Monday. Good times

I’m sipping hot tea to warm up before heading out though!

I ran 5 miles!
No miles for me. 🙁 Still dealing with a sick child and some icy roads left from the snow we got over the weekend.

already failing this week! School takes twice as long as I’d like it to and I always end up with 20 min before bedtime to get everything (fold laundry do dishes, etc) let alone workout. This is very discouraging at this point
Went for a 4 mile run tonight. Ran on the local indoor track. Not too bad and it was actually quite cold because it was in the basement. 🙂
2 quick miles with the pup! was supposed to be a cross training day, but he was lacking in the walk/exercise dept and i was short on time, so this killed two birds w/one stone 😀
I walked 4 miles today.
Rest day from running, so I focused on core work.
A bunch of strength training, abs and a quick 2 mile run. Today felt great!
Didn’t get a formal workout in today, but move a load of gift bags, calling it an arm day!
Did an hour of yoga today!

I got in a cold 5 miler today. Brr….
2 miles today!!! I think it is warming up… it was 27 degrees today!! lol It was in the low 20’s last week.
I got in 30 minutes on my bike trainer and 20 minutes of body weight exercises!
Going to bed early tonight so I don’t over-sleep through my AM workout…again

Late run for me at 7:15 tonight in the dark and cold. It was fun!
I ran on a treadmill since our high today was 23. Yuck.
Running isn’t my goal though: strength training is. So I did that too! I did one of pbfingers circuits. I can’t remember the name… something about it being a winter circuit.
Another 10 miles on the bike! Working towards 300 bike/treadmill miles. This has been a great challenge to keep me going!!!

I was happy with my workout, even if the cold and early dark brought my run inside: Kettle bell clean and press, glute/hip bridges, prisoner squats, and a quick mile and a half.
I ran 5 1/2 miles on the treadmill tonight after work. I just can not run outside in 33 degree weather.
75 minutes of hot yoga … felt especially AWESOME because it’s freezing outside!
Today was my rest day and I enjoyed a tasty breakfast out with my husband 🙂
Strength and conditioning class this morning and Deep stretch yoga tonight. I am doubling up workouts a few days this week as I am trying a new yoga studio. Verdict so far: I am hooked!

Weights day
Ran 13 miles on gym treadmill since it was cold out.
Another rest day – had an assignment due in for college so spent the entire day doing that, then had to go to a friend’s show in the evening! At least I had to wait 20 minutes for the bus, so I walked around the place. Still active, right?!

4 today and in what? Why, the new Mizuno Waverider 18s! The Mizuno lady visited our running store tonight and we got to take them out for a spin! We ran along a lovely beach under a starry sky with oh, sub-freezing temps and wind. Good times! Do you know about the Mizuno fabric that gets warmer when you sweat? Whaat? Good night.
Was going to go swimming, but my car refused to start after work and had to wait for my husband to come jump start it. To make it worse we are having a huge snow storm! 🙁 Ended up getting comfort take-out food. I will get up extra early tomorrow to get my workout in!

I have missed checking in the past few days 🙁 and I was 1 workout short of my goal last week! Luckily I already have things planned this week to make sure that doesn’t happen again! I did end the week with a great 7 mi run on Sunday and took a rest day Monday and today. I have a 3 mi run planned for tomorrow! Definitely want to make my goal this week!
2 mile brisk walk during lunchtime today – Dragon Age Inquisition tonight (can’t resist). The running shoes go back on tomorrow.
Today it’s freezing here in Michigan, so I stayed inside for my run. Three miles on the treadmill after work, followed by 20 minutes of strength training.
Gym tonight…not sure what I’m doing yet but it will be some form of cardio.

It’s freezing cold even in SC. I normally run outside w my friend every Tuesday at 5am but since th windchill was 18, we decided to run 20 min on treadmill,20 on elliptical and 15 on stair climber. Much warmer inside the ymca.
skipping yoga tonight in favor of going to visit a friend in the hospital after cancer surgery….worth it, but I also need to snap out of this skipping workouts rut!

I got in a great swim workout this morning…I always dread getting in but really do enjoy it once I’m there. Trying to embrace the whole cross training thing when I wish I was out there running…silly ankle.
I walked the stairs again this morning and when I got to the top my legs said..WHAT THE HECK!! Tonight I have yoga…Yeah!!!

ran 66 minutes with my elementary Physical Education classes in my morning classes. Then walked another 5 miles in the afternoon with my classes (perks of the job!)
I was planning on doing some light cross-training today, but I still have a few pains from Sunday’s run. I’m going to take advantage of the free time, and finally watch the movie Nightcrawler instead.
Rest day (sort of). Walked dogs early their .6 mile route and will hop on the treadmill tonight for 30 min. plus walk the dogs again!

I took my first boot camp class today at equinox. The instructor was hillarious. He said to one woman as we were doing burpees “come on Lisa, you’ve done much worse for a much longer period of time.”

This morning I went to Pilates and then ran 3 miles on the treadmill while watching Sex and the City! Glad to figure out it comes on early mornings since I think I’ll have a lot of treadmill mornings here in Chicago!!!!

I had to work late last night so I wasn’t able to go on my run, instead I walked around the area I work in for 15 minutes. Today I’m going for a 4 mile run…which can’t happen soon enough on this crazy busy day! 🙂

This morning I got up at 5 and ran a quick 3 miles before work. Last night I squeezed in a kettle bell workout after work & before dinner. Whew! It was short, but tough. Love it!
Tuesday is zumba day!!!! Zumba for one hour.

Did a great 30 min combo workout of walking, running, and stops to do pushups/squats/planks, etc. I also did this in the blustery cold of Maine by the ocean, and on my lunch break!

Today is a rest from running but I already took the puppy out for a 25min walk (which turned into an ab workout trying to teach her how to walk on that leash!) and I plan on doing a Nike Training Club workout tonight as well as another 20ish min walk.

3 mile run for me this morning. Had to do it on the treadmill, windchill was -1 before work. Too cold for me out there!
Stuck inside due to the snowpacalypse= insanity pure cardio & 3 miles on the dreadmill!
Kickboxing class today at the gym and maybe 2 miles before if I can sneak out of work in time.

Monday was a rest day. Today is good hard bike ride, probably around 30 miles .
Yesterday: 3 mile run, 1 hr spin
Today: run group tonight! 3-4 miles planned.

Burpee challenge (40 burpees today) and 1.5-2 mi walk during lunch.
Took floor barre last night successfully! Today is all about NOT making my foot worse so that I can maybe, hopefully, try running on Sunday – and perhaps even take a walk on Thursday?
Today is a rest day for me. All I plan on doing is a bit of stretching.
Tuesday is a CrossFit day. Back squats, strict presses, Bulgarian split squats, and two rounds of an intense 4-minute AMRAP.
Got my blogilates total body torture in this morning. Too much white stuff flying this morning, so couldn’t quite brave the great outdoors

I missed my workout this morning (family emergency) but yesterday I did a killer bootcamp including sprints, walking lunges, manmakers, v-ups, and burpees. Excited to get back to it tomorrow!
