Hello! How’s it going? Yesterday I had two major fails – well, one was my fail and the other was my cat. He’s the worst.

So earlier in the day I went for one last run in my favorite Mizuno Running shoes.
Remember Vegas and I both said bye to them…

Then, I went out to run an errand and came back to complete cat barf all over them. He is so lucky I was about to toss these! I would have been done with him if they were my good running shoes! I was going to try and recycle them, but now they’re just trash.

Don’t be mad at me for posting that, be mad at Vegas for being gross.

Then, I turned my white Run Eat Repeat tank and white Angel dress from Halloween BLUE! #Fail

Actually I thought it was kinda funny since I’m still going to wear it…

5 miles in the wind and cold! I think I inhaled a snowflake?!?
I know its a bit late, but yesterday I did a 10km run, with 15 minutes of speed intervals at the end. I enjoyed it!
Yesterday was kind of a rest day. I just ran 1 mi on the treadmill, abs, and stretching, and decided to do more tomorrow.
Lifted chest and shoulders on Tuesday. Plus a quick run
Took tuesday off to study for an Anatomy test.. I REALLY REALLY want to win a pair of pro-compression socks! I have 3 and they are my favorite!!!

I had to take a break a lot over the past week because of a cold. I ran for 30 minutes on Friday and then attempted to run 90 minutes on Saturday. The cold made me feel exhausted, so I had to walk for the final 22 minutes. But at least I got out there! I’m keeping it mellow this week and will probably try to go out for a run on Thursday. Definitely going for the long run on Saturday, though.

My cat has been living with my mom since June when I moved to Berkeley, and I miss him so much that I even miss the cat barf! When he didn’t have any food he liked to alert me by eating something that was not food (a hair band, leaves from a plant, the plastic netting clementines come in) then throwing it up on my bath mat. Little bastard.

Also… A shoe question for you! I currently wear Brooks Pure Flow shoes, and am looking for a slightly more cushy shoe with a greater heel/toe drop (pure flows= 4mm) to rotate with those shoes while training for a full marathon in April– any suggestions??

Ran 3 miles this morning. Legs felt heavy and I was slower than normal, but I got it done!
I did a warm vinyasa yoga class this morning which was a great start to the day especially because it incorporated abs.
30 minutes of strength, chest and back. Felt good after doing so much running!

This morning I ran three miles, and this afternoon I will probably walk one mile around the University of Utah campus because to get around there is ridiculous and I am always walking back and forth!

Going to the gym this evening with my husband who’s completing the couch to 5k app. He’s on week 2 so I’m planning on doing an interval run with him on the treadmill followed up with some weights.
Going to go for a freezing 4km tempo run tonight and will try not to die on all the ice and invisible sidewalks #northernproblems

Yesterday was a fail for me, too. It snowed, and I snuggled on the couch instead of doing any thing physical. This morning was better! A nice workout and then a class. 🙂

Did a Weight Watchers upper body DVD today. I couldn’t find my 3 lb weights, so I had to use my 5 lbs. Extra effort win!

I just busted out laughing reading this! I know the feeling of cat woes all too well though I must say mine have never puked in my shoe. Reading it I though you meant “on” your shoes but nope….all the way on the inside! Hilarious and gross all at the same time. Anyways, I’m running three miles this afternoon. My hubby is starting to train for his first half today!

Treadmill and Body Pump
Did ab exercises at the gym this morning before work. Gym was a ghost town (as compared to after work last night when I did shoulders) so I think I might be switching to morning workouts!
Took my dog out for a mile walk this morning and I’m hoping to get a nice jog in at night.
Yoga this morning from Grokker. Didn’t hit the glutes with the workout, so I’m going to roll those after work.
Will do 4 miles on the treadmill.

Did flywheel at 7am this morning! It sucked to get out of bed so early but I got it over with and feel great!
Ran 4 miles in the snow this morning. I was pretending that it was sand, and I was on a beach, and that maybe I’d have a beachy drink tonight to congratulate myself. #wishfulthinking.

I am running 7 miles after work today. I couldn’t get in my long run on Sunday, so I’m doing it today! Even packed my running stuff so I have no excuse to go home and get lazy!
Two miles on the ‘mill today. Would have been three but that dang side stitch was back with a vengeance.
