Today was a long run. Did I mention that I didn’t check my training plan last weekend and just assumed I was supposed to run 17 miles, up 1 mile from the week before? Well, I wasn’t. Last weekend was supposed to be a step back week and I should have done 11! WTF. No wonder my legs were trying to tell me something this week! It’s like they knew.

Well, I decided to take a step back this weekend for my long run. I ran 12 miles this morning. I totally felt like I could have done more. After my last couple of high mileage long runs I feel super tired and my legs are slightly sore, but today I feel like I have a ton of energy left over! Ha. Isn’t funny how quickly our bodies change? 12 miles used to be my longest runs! Now, I feel like they are cake 🙂 I might drag the BF for a walk later. We’ll see…

Thanks 🙂 It’s weird when something that used to be so hard seems easy…
