Snowbirds

Ben and I definitely felt like snowbirds this weekend. We went to Florida for a day and a half and came back to this! This is the first time my little car has ever felt snow. I felt bad that I left her out in the cold weather this weekend 🙁IMG_3072

We didn’t have an ice scraper, so Ben had to use his arm! ben with snow on car

After a very rainy Saturday, this morning looked like it was going to be gorgeous! We were very sad to leave so soon. IMG_3057

I even took a picture with Santa Claus at the art show. Merry Christmas!!!IMG_3038

The weekend went by way too fast, but we had a great time visiting with Ben’s fam.IMG_3060

I peed in a porta-potty – but made sure to knock first. IMG_3031

Because of this very professional sign: IMG_3032

Last night we made cookies and I ate way too many. What is it about freshly baked cookies that makes them like crack? I always eat a ton of batter plus a ton of cookies. Damn. IMG_3045

We doubled the batch too! IMG_3048

This morning we woke up early since our flight left at noon. We wanted to get in some extra time hanging out with everyone. I made some oatmeal and we headed out.IMG_3050

I also tried this new juice – cranberry with energy. It was good, but I didn’t really feel much more energized. IMG_3052

On the way to the airport we drove through DD. I also had a bite of Ben’s breakfast sandwich. It wasn’t anything great.IMG_3061IMG_3062

I brought a shiny red apple and a handful of pretzels for the plane ride.IMG_3065

I was sad to leave Florida 🙁IMG_3064

When we got to MD I was shocked to see this – SNOW! I heard on the news it was snowing, but I guess I didn’t want to believe it?IMG_3067

It was around 3 by the time we got home. I was hungry! I quickly made a veggie burger, chips and hummus w/ carrots for lunch. I also stole a bite of Ben’s pizza.IMG_3075

Then, Ben and I put on a ton of clothes and took a long walk. It was so nice to move around even though it was cold!!!

Now I am eating cereal and blogging. We stayed up late the past two nights, so it’s almost bed time for me!IMG_3076

Hope you guys had a great weekend too 🙂 See ya tomorrow morning!

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.Air Jordan 2

Did the baby fire reignite in Ben this weekend? He’s looking mighty happy with his nephew! Your poor little car must’ve been shocked by the cold wet snow 🙁 Time to invest in a scraper!

I think it’s adorable that you and Ben always take walks together. Also, couldn’t help but notice Ben swooning around another baby…… he looked pretty comfortable too. I’ve never seen my bf holding a baby before. I think he’s scared it will break. Welcome home and enjoy the snow!! Someday you should try snow shoeing, you’d really enjoy it.
