StitchFix Fashion Delivery Review #10

Fitness Fashion· My Life

Hello! This is my 10th StitchFix delivery, but probably only 8th or so review since I haven’t been completely reviewing all of the items the last few fashion deliveries have brought to my door.

But I really dug this lace top and got a few questions via Instagram about it so I wanted to mention it…

stitchfix top and shorts fashion blog review (600x800)

If you use Stitchfix and want to request these items:

Carlie Mixed Lace Short Sleeve

Dear John Finnegan Roll Cuff Chino Short

Note: I am was adamant about not buying shorts with a cuff in the past. I think it just adds bulk to an already thick part of my body. But, these are so room and I guess because the material is thinner than jean shorts it worked.

Similar from Macy’s / This lace tee comes with a cami /

5” inseam chino shorts / Target 5’’ chino shorts

Kept both of those!

I skipped this color block dress though. I just feel like it’s kinda office-y and I wouldn’t have anywhere to wear it.

My other skip was a cowl neck asymmetrical sweater I didn’t love.

And finally this fun top… that’s great for wearing to do squats.

This is the RENEE C Garren Keyhole Blouse.

One of the good things about Stitchfix is you get to try on the clothes at home. And since I take pics with them I was able to see that when I’m acting weird (which is 98% of the time) this shirt lifts up too much and shows ma belly. So, I decided to skip it after all. Boo.

But, I just got caught in the time suck on Pinterest and created a board of Stitchfix stuff I want. And I’ll share the board with my stylist and #boom I’ll get exactly what I want delivered to my door. LOVE it.

pinterest truth

Aaaaand, after spending all that time on Pinterest… I just realized I am the hardest to style because I only want things that make me look thin and work for my blotchy newborn skin color / red hair color combination. Sorry Ms. Stylist.

I got the same mixed lace top in my latest fix! Now I feel irrationally excited because we’re obviously style soulmates.
Enjoy Florida! I’m heading to North Carolina this week and am trying to brace myself for the humidity (and warmth – I’m coming from Michigan!)

They sent me that same mixed lace top and I loved it too. So soft and surprisingly flattering.

Are you just wearing it with a white or nude tank under? That’s how I like it 🙂

Stitch Fix is so hit or miss, but it cannot be easy to be one of their stylists. I’m amazed every time they send me something that I laugh at, only to try it on and fall immediately in love. How do they do that??

Yeah, I do appreciate that it’s made me try on things I wouldn’t have given a second look to at the store.

I’m hard to shop for only because my size fluctuates so much and I really have to try EVERYTHING on. I love the pink shorts and lace top combo! Makes me [almost] want to run out and buy a pair of shorts (it’s probably been 10 years since I last wore shorts in public!).

Love the lace top! I am picky about clothes, and yet I always manage to find a million things I want when I go shopping. I think I’m challenging to shop for, not just because I am picky, but also because I shop so much that I don’t really need anything.

I like that shift dress! And no one should ever try to buy me clothes – not only do I have a boyish shape that fits nothing off the rack without tailoring, I have a mental list of what I want and must have! It’s on my list to figure out Pinterest!!

I’ve heard you (like everyone) should get everything tailored because it is 100% more flattering. Do you get everything fixed?

I actually hate shopping and I have to be in a certain mood to do it. Then I have no idea when that mood will strike, so basically I just need to be armed with my credit card at all times.

I love that lace top! And the pink shorts are cute. I need to get some coloured shorts for spring.

Well… why on earth would someone want clothes that make them look fat? I think your standards are 100% reasonable!

I doubt you’re oddly shaped, but that made me think of Spongebob for some reason.

I too am very picky and I only recently really starting using pinterest and I’m already thinking I may need pinterest rehab. I’m designing complete rooms, like all day long.

I’ve become a Pinterior Designer, hehe.

I’m hard to shop for. I don’t think anyone has successfully bought me clothes. I have a thick mid section and narrow hips but thick muscular legs and I’m super short. I also sweat a ton so I hate solid color tops.
I barely have my feet wet with Pinterest but I have plenty of time suck options to choose from anyway lol. 🙂
