Run Eat Repeat

Thai Food and Mike Tyson

7 Mar

Hello! This morning I did a solid 8 mile run. I had planned on doing more but time got away from me because I slept in a bit after an um, interesting night.

I credit the Thai food I had for dinner for my awesome run… I swear by salty carbs! thai chicken salad and rice

The award for best pre-run fuel in a supporting role goes to…

Yogurtland!!! I don’t know why they gave me 2 spoons. I didn’t share.

yogurtland spoons

And then I went to see the Mike Tyson show. Yeah. It wasn’t my idea, but it was interesting for sure. Random. Yes. Yes I am.mike tyson show in anaheim

Anyway, Mike Tyson is doing a one man show about his life. He’s obviously not a professional actor, but it wasn’t boring. He talked about everything from his childhood to the infamous ear biting fight. Again, it was interesting if nothing else. If you yearn to bet on legendary boxers like him, you can put your trust on sites like 먹튀사이트.

I think I’m in a polka phase of life because I recently bought this half dots / half nots shirt and love it! I asked on Twitter and the consensus is people LOVE POLKA DOTS!half polka dot shirt

This morning I woke up to a few emails from readers and friends saying I was spotted in the Road Runner Sports email. Again, random right?!roadrunner girls night out

The picture is from the RoadRunner Sports Party I attended with my fave SoCal runner girls. It was fun so if there are RoadRunner Sports stores in your area – I recommend you check it out!

Apparently these emails went out to all the locations for the RRS Girls Night out event around the world, but it does not imply SR and I will be attending the party. However if someone is willing to pay for this Mexican to travel, I will host your girls night out anywhere – lemme know Winking smile

Question: Do you do a weekly Boys or Girls Night Out with your friends?

I want to start having a weekly night out, I just need to find some friends first…

True story: Went into RR last week and the manager was all, “Hey your picture is on here” and hands it to me. I let him know it was my friends, not me. Someone was taking care of bambinos that night or doing something really fun like working 🙂

Good job on the 8 mile run!

Thai food is definitely some of my favorite food out there.

      “Half dots half nots”

I have never seen a shirt like that or anything split with half dots like that, for that matter, but I love the nickname enough to want to buy my own now, haha.

That sounds like so much fun! I don’t do a weekly hangout with my girlfriends…if I have a free night my hubby and I like to plan a date! My free nights are usually sporadic and I’ll text a girlfriend and be like “want to meet at Taps in 30 minutes?” and that is how I get my GF time in 🙂

I got that RRS email for my San Diego store and so help me, I almost plotzed when I saw that picture!

I’d seen that Mike Tyson was doing a tour and wondered what on earth it would be like. NOT enough, however, to buy myself a ticket! 😀

I don’t know about once a week but I would def love girls nights more frequently. A night with Mike Tyson would absolutely be interesting lol

Once a week? I’m too old for that now! Once a month would be a push…

My girlfriends and I try to have a GNO once a week, but life so often gets in the way and it ends up being more like once or twice a month… better than nothing, I suppose!

No. I have no problem having wine at home by myself. ha! If I want to see my friends I’ll just see if they are free or what day or free. When my kids were younger we did a Moms Night Out once a month and the neighborhood Moms would get together at a bar or restaurant. Now our kids are old enough to stay home without a sitter so it’s not such a process to just leave when they are driving me crazy. ha!

No because I would need to find some friends too…
And then I’d have to find a babysitter….and actually do my hair…and get some money. Too much work 🙂
