Hello! How was your weekend? I just got home from some fun at my parents’ hanging out with the fam and my favorite tiny person. Love.

I started the day with a short run and then a quick wardrobe change for sustenance. Ben and I have been spending some good time together and had a nice little morning walk to get iced coffee and a treat.

I headed to my parents to eat all their food and I was not disappointed.
They had a ton of ripe avocados! I made some delicious guacamole and flautas.
This right here is the #1 reason to marry a Mexican girl: guacamole making skills cannot be matched. Plus sometimes her family has avocado trees so you can put it on everything.

Then we spent some quality time in the pool. The water was perfection, Roxy agrees.

My aunt is very sick (and we’d appreciate prayers) so my mom and dad were gone visiting with her until dinner time. I made everyone bacon cheeseburgers, salad and roasted broccoli. I made myself a salmon patty salad because beef isn’t my jam.

I even baked an angel food cake for dessert! Look at me being a cook and stuff.

My mom found a #ShareACoke with my name on it! She’s the best because it’s a Coke Zero.

My favorite tiny person and I say ‘see ya later’!!

This weekend I raced a 10k and it was amazing! I had so much fun 😀
I literally watched Selena like twice this week. Her talent is unmatched.
I love that Ben married you
I spent most all of my weekend shopping, planning and then hosting a bridal shower for my best friend. Turned out lovely, even though the weather sucked. Unfortunately, that meant few miles but hopefully I make up for that this week.
i would marry a “mexican” girl, no doubt in my heart about it… orale! y un gran wepa! pa que tu lo sepa…
you are so awesome… and you have the greatest workout tips and recipes ; )
I went to the beach, went shopping, started an unnecessary argument about shopping with my husband and celebrated my brithday with my family. blondeandabrit.com
After reading this (and seeing the Selena gif), I have an intense desire to watch Selena and listen to “bidi bidi bom bom.”
But also, prayers for your aunt. Hope she gets better soon.
Your aunt and family are in my thoughts. Our weekend was very relaxed-lots of couch time, but did venture out and completed a 3 mile run in our beautiful weather Sunday-low humidity, low temps, and a breeze!!!!
Have you ever shared your guac recipe? If not, that would be perfect!
I would marry a mexican girl just for the guacamole!!!
Praying for your family!
I made more trips to home improvement stores than most people make in a year. That’s about it. However, this morning I broke my third treadmill so that’s something.
Boo. That’s a bummer but kind of makes you hardcore!
I need some guacamole making tips, mine never turns out that great.
I went to PA to visit friends and attend another friend’s wedding! It was a good weekend 🙂 Prayers are with you and your family!
Wedding season is so fun! I love looking at pics of other people’s weddings, is that weird?
We hardly did anything! The husband is studying for the Bar and I worked so it was pretty boring! ha. Prayers for your Aunt!
Thank you <3 Good luck to your husband!!!
I really wish I had an avocado tree! We have them every day it seems.
I know! I am trying to grow one from a seed in my patio and it’s going to take years and years. It’s so hard to pay for avocado since I’ve been so spoiled.
Had the most perfect two days with my boyfriend. We saw Ted2, went on a pack hike with our dogs and other people/dogs in the rain. It was so peaceful. Then we cooked dinner together both nights. I made the veggies and he grilled the meat. It was nice to have 48 hours together.
Prayers for your aunt.
That sounds like a great weekend. How was the movie?
