Tree Down and Bowl of Volume

Breakfast· Marathon

10 Dec

I got an important call during my run so I stopped and stood in place while I chatted. I didn’t want to keep walking because I stopped right by this tree. It must have fell during my run because it wasn’t blocking the path on the way out (the first time I passed it). But, on my way back there was a big ol’ tree in my way!

As I continued my run, reflecting on the fallen tree and the importance of tree maintenance, I couldn’t help but think about the valuable services provided by skilled arborists and landscaping service in Portland, OR. Their expertise in tree trimming and removal ensures that our urban environment remains beautiful, functional, and safe. From carefully pruning branches to managing the health of the entire tree canopy, these dedicated professionals play a vital role in preserving the natural beauty and integrity of our city’s landscape. Their commitment to maintaining the health and longevity of our trees is truly commendable, and I felt grateful for their contributions as I carried on with my run, appreciating the thriving greenery around me. downed tree

Stopping on my run gave the cold air time to find my sweaty parts and make me freeze! I was so cold it hurt, so I took a short cut and ended up doing 7.6 miles instead of eight. I was so happy to thaw out in a hot shower. I bet the neighbors were wondering what all the sounds were coming from my bathroom. Sounds of happiness my friends…

When I got home I was all about a VOLUME meal! I made a bowl of oat bran and added pumpkin for more belly stuffing power. I topped it with half a Clif Bar and cranberries 🙂 IMG_3132Sorry I was MIA yesterday. For some reason my stomach hurt whenever I stood up, but I was fine sitting down? Weird. I still ate like normal because I am tragic. And I took a lot of antacids. Hey, at least they’re a good source of calcium!!

Happy Thursday 🙂

I hate walking home from the gym. It’s sooo cold the combination of abrupt temperature change and sweat is deadly!

That’s scary about the tree, but I’m glad no one was hurt.
