Warning: I will bite your head off

Dinner

18 Dec

Warning: If you are a gingerbread man wandering along through my neighborhood….IMG_3298

I will bite your head off.

Then, I will eat the rest of you. Yum!IMG_3299

In addition to the last of my g-bread cookies I had a feast at Costco today! I don’t know what was going on, but they pulled out all the stops today! Check out my Costco Feast:

– Cheese ravioli

– Mozarella cheese

– Potsticker

– Ice cream with blubes

– Pear

– Chicken meatball

– Okay, now I’m starting to get full…

– Sourdough bread

– Chocolate Truffle

– Yep, now I’m completely stuffed because I ate yogurt and granola before I left for the store so I wasn’t even hungry! Does anyone else have the hardest time turning down free and delicious food?IMG_3291

Ben wanted me to take a pic of his dinner. I shredded the pot roast meat and made tacos 🙂 He was impressed for some reason even though I’m Mexican, so tacos should be my specialty. In CA there was a restaurant called “Taco Rosa”. Ben used to call it the Pink Taco. He thought this was hilarious.IMG_3294

I made a massive salad topped with a veggie burger for my dinner. The peanut dressing and ketchup are from TJ’s and of course free from HFCS 🙂 Ha! Look at how little my fork looks next to the salad…

I’ve been trying to buy less veggies since we’re trying to save money and they can be so expensive! But, that makes me sad. I feel best when I have one mostly veggie meal each day. I’m going to re-adjust some things so I can buy up all the veggies my body wants! IMG_3297

Ben is currently doing a random experiment with a Guinness can and a candle. He says he’s making a “candle stove”. IMG_3301Since we didn’t have any drugs to cook over it we went with chocolate chips (my drug of choice anyways). Ben is currently melting chocolate chips and maple syrup on a Guinness candle stove. Next, we are going to dip macaroons in it. We didn’t get fat by accident. This is a skill people.

I cannot stop drinking hot chocolate every night lately. I’d like to blame the cold, but we all know it’s just my sweet tooth 🙂 Just thought I’d let ya know…

An incredible post, I just agreed this onto a workfellow who was doing a small analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I learned it for him. .. So let me rephrase that: Be grateful you for the treat! But yeah Thanks for taking the time to talk about this, I feel strongly about it and like learning more on this topic. If possible, as you be converted into expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more info? It is highly helpful for me. Two thumb up for this blogpost!

Cookies are my downfall everytime. It doesn’t help when I’m baking for holiday orders – I have to sample to make sure it turns out yummy!
Oh, Taco Rosa – one of my favorite places. Now I’m craving their salmon taco! Good thing I have to get a gift certificate there later.

Oh my I’ll definitely have to try those tacos! What a good idea to use leftover roast. I kinda feel bad for your ginger guy… What did he do to you 😉

Umm I cannot turn down free food…like, ever. It’s BAD especially this time of year around my work. And Costco, on a good sample day? Forget about it. I think it’s the college-student mentality that just sticks with us.

I used to have a hard time turning down delicious free food. But now I can do. In fact, I do it a lot especially if the food is not good for me (calorie-wise). And speaking of hot chocolate… Even if it’s not cold here, I will make me a mug of hot chocolate. I’ve been craving it for days.

Have you ever tried Morningstar Farms buffalo wings on your salads? That’s the ish. For reals, and with blue cheese dressing (or similar)? Ridiculously delicious.
