What’s better than Taco Tuesday?

Hello! How are you today? I’m great except for one little thing… I fell.

I fell on my run this morning. Ha! But, I’m getting good at this game because it was a super light fall and I bounced up fast (thanks to the very busy street on my left, how embarrassing) and ran off like the wind a person who has just fallen in front of tons of people and feels like a loser. But, I’m not hurting at all so I think it’ll be okay.

On the bright side fall 2 out of 3 is done for the year! (I fall about 3 times a year or so.)

Fall #1 of 2015 is here and was a lot more  scrapey. That’s not a word, but it was.

After my trip I dug into breakfast. I made overnight oats and they were ready and waiting for me after my run.

I used some of the goodies the people at CVS sent me to try from their Gold Emblem line as toppings. It included dried fruit for crunch and trail mix for some sweet chewy berries and healthy fats.

In the oats: 1 container pineapple greek yogurt, 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup milk, dash hemp seeds (optional). Mixed and set overnight in an airtight container.

Before serving I transferred it to a bowl and topped with the gold emblem crunchy fruits and some trail mix.

Capsule Wardrobe Day 2. Another Cali casual day of shorts and sandals. This time with a long sleeve blue top. It was a little overcast today in SoCal.

And I got my hairs trimmed! I needed that, mostly for my bands. Once they get too long I either just pin them back or hack them off myself and then eat a fish burrito and go to Las Vegas (I did that one time it was a series of bad decisions packed into one weekend).

And the big question of the day…

What is better than Taco Tuesday???

Um, hello Pad Thai Tuesday!!! Come to Monican.

Question: What food do you like better than tacos this week?

Those oats look awesome! I love getting freeze dried fruit and my son loves ’em too. He’ll legit eat a whole 4 serving bag alone, and he’s only one…

I actually just had a taco before reading this. We had a food truck come to my work! Yum! I am definitely down with having froyo this week! Tacos and froyo may be a good combination right?! 😉

That is hilarious. A part of me always cracks up when I see someone trip and fall because I know how embarrassing it is! And I’d say tacos win over thai for me as well, but thai does sound quite exciting!

My cookie butter-smothered apple slices last night was pretty spectacular… although I could have used a smaller apple, that way I could have covered the ENTIRE THING in cookie butter and not felt guilty.

Hmmm… tacos are pretty much tops in my world. Though salads, soups, and sandwiches are pretty high up there too.

I am on a yogurt bender! I picked up a couple containers of Siggs and Fage yesterday for mid day snacks. I plan to top with some Larabar Renola and dive in later. Yum. Your Overnight Oats look divine!

falls in public places are the worst. but, i am always impressed with my ability to get up and sprint off even after the wind has been knocked out of me. glad you’re 2/3 of the way there for the year!
