Hello! I am getting ready for Rock N Roll Las Vegas today! I’m starting the day with a run in my #StripAtNight tee. It’s BRIGHT!

But before I pack it up and head to Vegas I wanted to share my favorite things from the week…

Friday Favorites
1. My mesh laundry bag for washing delicates. I actually lost mine in January when my washing machine broke and it went MIA after I went to the Laundromat. I am the worst and took this long to replace it!

2. This video my favorite peep Chandra sent me. Ha!
3. Hummus. I am so predictable with food. I love hummus, watermelon, fro-yo, Sriracha and pizza – not in that order. But I have been going through a container every other day because I haven’t hit up Costco for the BIG one.
4. All the chapstick! I’m an addict.
But I’m not sure if that’s because using it makes you dependent or just aware that your lips are chapped or what.

5. TOMS shoes – aka flip flops for cooler weather. I actually don’t have flip-flops right now, I lost them back in June when I went on vacation and never got a new pair. But now that my toes will be froze I’ll stick with Toms.

I’m so proud of myself…. I can still run long distances! After the entire summer of (non running related) injuries…. I’m fully back to myself!
11/15 did 6 mile walk with my girlfriends at Smith Mountain Lake, Va. The best part is we got lost during our hike and another friend had to come pick us up.
I did 3 shakeout miles to get ready for my Saturday half!

Ran a 10k this morning! It was cold, snowy, icy, and in the teens, but I finished without falling!
Great three miler! Finally starting to see my pace get speedier after having a baby!
Saturday- I ran 7 miles this morning! WOO HOO! Made some friends on the Nike Running app and I need to keep up.
Didn’t get in any miles friday 🙁
5 miles in 28* weather this morning. I’ m still trying to warm up. Need to get some new winter pants/ tights.
Ran a 5k with my girlfriends this morning. It was my last chance at a long run before next week’s half, but the 5k trumped cause it was the first race ever for two of my friends!
5 miles!! its so cold here in CT gonna have to start running in the gym again 🙁
No running for me today, but I did hit up the gym for a lower body workout!
10 miles in the cold but sunny weather!
60 minutes of cross country skiing, what fun!

45 minutes of Body Pump and 45 minutes of a sweaty spin class!
This was a rest day, although not very much resting was involved! My mom and I had our annual mother/daughter shopping day for my birthday, so I was up on my feet and walking all day!

I had to postpone my workout yesterday, so to make up for it, this morning I did a 50min weights workout, and 10.7km run, which included some speed intervals. Booyah!
Today Is a rest day, my legs are killin me!
I rode the stationary bike for 40 minutes, swam for 30 minutes, and took the dog for a nice walk. Good day!

Joined another friend today who is training for a marathon, so today was a VERY hilly 12 miler. In 20°. Brrr! Only 9 miles away from 1000 miles for the year!
Well I kinda dropped the ball today, but I did buy myself a new pair of running pants for this winter. That has to count for something 🙂

I’m the worst and slept in this morning instead of working out.
Did 2 miles last night and 1 this morning all in below freezing temps! Brr!
Treadmill run today, due to 21 degree weather… Did 1/2 mile warmup. Then 7 x 1/4mile at 7.7 (1/4mile recovery at 6.0). Felt okay… I feel like I am losing some fitness, but it may just be the addition of a 1/4 mile at a fast pace every other week… My body may finally be getting used to running at the 7.7 pace, which is a good thing.

I’m planning on doing 5-9 miles after work today, depending on how long I can tolerate the cold.

Not sure what my plan is today. Working late + dinner party means I’ve got to try and squeeze something in this afternoon – but the snow fall is making it hard for me to want to go outside.

Another 2-mile run and a few Tone It Up workouts. Full disclosure: I set my alarm back an hour when I woke up at 3 this morning, figuring I’d sleep in today and take a rest day. Then, at 5:30, I realized I don’t truly need a rest day, I’m just being lazy. So, I rallied and squeezed in my workout. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Due to a broken (falling off!) toenail that’s causing me pain, I won’t be running tonight, but will be doing some strength training at the gym.

Rest day of gentle stretches today. It was tough because the scale did not give me good news this morning. But I will put it behind me and come back harder next week! Thinking of adding one spin class in. Don’t want to overdo it, but that seems safe
