Hello! How are you doing? I’m going to hang out in Florida for a few more days.
Yesterday I hit up the store for some foods and spotted this wine that sounded right up my alley. Does anyone else buy wine based on the name?

There was a lot of delicious leftovers and pie throughout the day. I love Thanksgiving.
Last night I wore my new super soft cape coat to a bonfire. A lot of people at the party gave me compliments on it and I got a few questions via instagram on it.
It’s not from Stitchfix – as many of you asked.
Actually Ben bought it for me randomly in South Dakota at a small shop. It’s super warm and comfy and I’m probably going to live in it now! This white cape coat is similar.

Speaking of things I dig based on the name… Ginga ninja!

But, I ended up enjoying an “adult” hot chocolate instead.

This morning I headed out for a run. It is GORGEOUS here and I’m soaking up every minute.

Then, I made all the food for breakfast. I was HUNGRY.

Pile on the Miles LAST DAY!!!

Saturday- 9 Miles!
Met it! Goal was 200 miles and I ran 215.
87 km out of the 100 of my goal. But I had a knee injury so it’s ok, I’m happy with my results:)
I got in an hour cardio workout at the gym this morning. My goal was to exercise at least 4 days a week and lift 2 days a week. I happily met my goal this month and I am hoping to continue that momentum into December! 🙂
I didn’t quite meet my goal, but my active time this month was certainly greater than usual.
Today I did a 40 min sole sculpt video. My goal was to exercise at least 30 min every day and run at least 100 miles, and I did it! I ended up running 106 miles + another 11 – 13 tomorrow . I loved having this challenge to keep me accountable.
Managed 50.9 out of the 65 I was aiming for!

I ran 4 miles this morning! And I exceeded my goal of 65 miles this month! Super proud!
Shopping was my cardio today 🙂
Today was a rest day, but I will have met my goal of 80 (+) miles for November with my long run tomorrow morning. It’s on the treadmill, so no excuses!
Didn’t reach my 60 miles of running, but I did a lot of walking too. November was a pretty active month.
3 miles this morning… 160 miles for the month 🙂
My goal was to run every day this week and I did it! Finished up tonight with 3 miles.
Day off today – but back at it tomorrow with a 10k!
My goal was 120 minutes of cardio per week. Accountability was good for me. This was the most active I have been my whole pregnancy!
My goal was to workout every day… and I did it!! 🙂
Body Pump this morning
14 miles on the treadmill
2 miles. I’m happy with this week:)
Well, I accomplished my goal for the month – 50 miles! I’m taking a rest day today… still trying to decide what December’s goal will be!
Ran 4 miles this morning!
Got in 6 miles today and met my goal for the month. Thanks for the challenge!
I’m 3 miles short for the month, but I did survive crossfit.
I met my goals and was able to increase my mileage even more than I was hoping 🙂
I hit my goal of 150 miles with running and walking I hit 126.9 running and 23.1 walking yahoo I’m proud of myself
Overall it was good most weeks I met my running goal but I definitely didn’t meet my step goal every day like I wanted. Half mary completed though, and I almost bailed on it! Thanks for all your effort with this!
Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I needed some quiet time! So I snuck in 2 miles. Beat my goal of 20 miles! Sitting pretty at 22.1 🙂
i set a goal of 75 miles and got to 82–woohoo!
woke up late but was able to squeeze in 3.5
2 miles. It was freezing but glad I got it in!
Nailed my goal of 25 miles per week. Running the Seattle Half tomorrow!
another mile on the treadmill since I’m getting used to new shoes
This challenge was great for me! I said I wanted to run 4+ days per week, and I definitely did that. This is the most active I’ve ever been during the month of November.
Finished it up with 2×3.5 mile runs outside for 7 total miles.
I worked out early all days except one. I am very proud of this as I have been struggling to get out of bed.
4 freezing cold miles today. 4 more tomorrow and I meet my goal! 🙂
I did reach my goal of 90 miles this month! And I’m so excited for my 2nd full marathon next weekend!
I hit my goal of 3 days running (20 miles), 3 days ST and 1 day yoga. yay!
12 miles today and ended up with 70 miles this month when my goal was 40 – apparently set the bar a little too low
My goal was to run 45 miles this month. Including the 10k I am running tomorrow, I will have run 55.2 miles!!! 10 miles over my goal!! yay!
Today was rest day for me – I am counting tomorrow still in my personal POTM for November since it’s the 30th and I plan on running 7 miles in the morning!
Was able to meet my goal of T25 or PiYo 5-6 days per week and swimming 2-3 days per week. Thank you for keeping me moving and accountable this month!! Loved this challenge!! 🙂
Just got back from a beautiful walk
Rest day!
I was finally given the okay to run 2 miles! Felt amazing!
4+ runs every week so I met my goal!
Goal was 5 days alternating cardio and strength, plus a yoga day–met my goal all four weeks! Yay!
Very happy with my accomplishments – despite being sidelined with an injury. Was active at least 4 days per week. Only strength training got neglected!
Ran 4.25. Hit my miles goal and my circuit training for the week but missed a yoga class. All in all very good.
I met my goal for each week and enjoyed the accountability of checking in daily.
Took a walk in the snow with my mom today. Met my goal all month! (Run 3 days/wk)
My goal was to get back to running twice a week…unfortunately my knee injury is no better and that has not happened. I have managed to keep working out about 4 times a week and focused a lot on upper body and abs. Happy about that!
My goal was to do more strength and yoga, and I did well! I went to 3 yoga classes and did strength work 6-7 times this month. Today, I ran 8.35 miles at a faster easy pace. It was beautiful out!
My goal was to workout 6 days a week and to meet my activity target on my Misfit Shine every day this month, and I did! Thanks for the extra motivation!
I’m headed out for some speedwork. I’ve done ok this month. I had to change things up a little bit but it wasn’t because I got lazy. I started the month as I was in marathon recovery mode and I think I took things too hard at the beginning, so I needed a little extra rest time by mid month. It wasn’t my original plan but I think it was the right decision for my body.
I didn’t reach my goal, makes me feel a little guilty, but I was pretty active through out the month of November.
Ran 5.25 miles today and reached my goal! 🙂
My goal was to workout a whole lot and I succeeded! I ran for 50 minutes on the treadmill to finish up Thanksgiving week!
Yes, I reached my goal. I’ve had some ups and downs this month, but I managed to keep going. Thanks for the motivation! And today I did an hour of strength training for the first workout in my gym’s holiday challenge, which is my next source of motivation to keep working.
My goal was 80 miles. I will hit 75 miles for the month after my 14 mile (longest ever) run tomorrow! Pretty close! 🙂
I ran 6 today and did some squats and lunges and lots of foam rolling.
Today was the mother of all rest days. Supposed to do some cross training today bit I think I got that in with last night’s swim. Tomorrow I start training with a running crew training for the same half marathon I’ve been training for.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the stay, seems like heaven…
Rest day and coffee!
I mostly met my goal of working out everyday except a few misses for travel and being sick. Overall it was a great month!
I think I said I wanted to run 50 miles – I probably did half of it. My legs were still in recovery mode after my races in October
Met my goal this week!
My goal was to get to my 18 miler and I did it! So glad! Thanks for doing this!
I ran 3 miles this morning! Made my goal for the week!
15 miles over goal! Forgot to add my miles from my tread and shred class to my goal! 🙂 (133/118) 12 miles this morning!
I did it! My goal was 60 miles and I even surpased it!! The best thing was actually able to fit into my pair of skinny jeans the day after Thanksgiving. I hadn’t been able to do squeeze in them for 6 months. 🙂
8 miles this morning. I hit my goal for the month. Thanks for keeping me accountable!
Rest day before 1 st 5k in a month
6 miles today, meaning I checked off all of my running sessions for my half marathon training and hit my main goal. Also PR’ed during the 10k on Thanksgiving, so the speed work is paying off.
I ran 15 miles this morning and then another 2.5 with my boys. I met my fitness goals but probably ate a bit too much, especially dessert!
I met my goal of completing all my mileage for the week! Did a windy 16 miler today (even though I wanted to quit at 14 sooooo badly).
5k race this morning, but the course was short, boo hoo, but I won a pair of shoes, yippee 😉
Didn’t get in as many miles as I wanted but I am pleased with my POTM effort.
All your readers are inspiring, loved reading what everyone was up too.
My goal was 30 minutes of exercise, 5 days a week. I actually did almost make it, which is huge for me in November. It’s normally such a rough month. Today I’m about to go on a hike with my husband to explore my parents hometown and get in my last workout. Thanks so much for helping us to Pile on the Miles!!!
Overall I did pretty good — I didn’t pool run as much as I planned b/c it’s so cold to walk back to my car with wet hair! But I did more yoga and elliptical to make up for it so all in all, I’m proud of myself!
I tried out the very fancy gym that I won a free month’s membership to at a function last month. Did 60 minutes on the elliptical and the worst 10 minutes of my life on one of those giant stairclimber machines. This is how fancy this gym is: they have staff members walking around to offer you fresh towels while you work out!
I am still taking it easy after killing myself in my last race this season on thanksgiving… Lol! The new PR was totally worth it. I’ll get back to it soon. Oh yeah and I met my POTM goal too!!
I’m 1 mile away from my goal of 75 miles this month!! I’ll probably do a victory lap tomorrow morning 🙂 I also recovered well from my half marathon earlier this month and am ready to pick another race!
My goal was 100 miles for the month of November. Between today and tomorrows run, i will get close (92) but not quite there. Still, this is my best month since starting to run in May! For three young kids, working full time and cold weather, I am happy!!
I met my goal of incorporating more cross-training into my running routine!
4 miles and 30 minutes on the elliptical this morning!!
My goal was at least 60 minutes of any type of exercise on 5/7 days per week, and I met my goal for 3/4 of the weeks of November – not too shabby! The one week I only missed it by 1 day. Such a fun challenge!
I ended at 35 miles for the week- 10 over my goal!
I met my goal of running 4 times a week and 1 night of soccer.
My overall goal for the month was to accumulate 10k steps every day plus get in a workout 6 days out of the week. I just need to get in a run later today and tomorrow to meet my goal!
I joined a group of trail runners for about 4.5 miles. It was fun!
I was able to run y, turkey trot and nice letting my foot completely heal!
I rocked my goal! 🙂
Did 6 miles total this morning. 4 mile run with a 2 mile walk. Love running on the beach. It’s going to be hard going back to MI. I didn’t reach my goal, mostly based on the horrible weather at home but I feel good that I kept moving and added in other ways to enjoy Thanksgiving without adding weight.
WALKED TODAY! YES!
6 miles this morning!
Completed 16 miles today! That pushed me to 121 miles for the month of November! 1 mile OVER my goal! Woo hoo 🙂 time to EAT
X-training and weights today! Looking forward to running some trails tomorrow – YES!
Have fun in FL!
2.5 mile run done!
6 mile run this morning. My goal was 150 miles for the month…I did about 125. Close…but not quite. I will try for the 150 again this month. That should keep me running and eating right during the holiday season!
My goal was 100 miles and I ended the month with 137 🙂
4.5 miles today! Reached my goal and will be more than a little over with a Sunday run!
Not quite there. I’ve been having an issue with my right leg, so I’m a little short for the week. But I still have tomorrow to get it in for the month. We will see how it feels tomorrow!
My goal apparently was a little too extreme….20,000 steps per day. Yeah….I failed. BUT I kept moving and did not gain any weight in November. that’s a win!!
Trail run later in the windy but warmer temperatures.
I partiallyet met my goal – met the 40 miles, but not the working out five days a week. Still happy!
Beat My Goal with 13.1 on the TM this morning!!
My goal was to finish off my 2014 racing season with an 8 km this afternoon and I’m feeling ready to roll!
My goal was 140 miles and I surpassed it by a few miles…this was a fun challenge, thank you!!
I did reach my go or running 1 mile outside! I loved it!
My goal was to workout 5x a week. Even with a move last week, I think I made it!
Today is another walk with the dog day.
I always pick wine based on the label!
I ran a really good turkey trot 5k this morning! Partially because it was so cold, I wanted to be done before i event started. I think I hit my goal for the month. I dropped my average mile time down a good amount and kept really active throughout the month!
I was able to hit my goals, loved the accountability of checking in each day!
Ben was in South Dakota? I am originally from there.
didn’t quiiite meet my goal due to a crazy schedule and work load 🙁
I don’t think I met my goal of 10k steps 4 days a week but doing this challenge really made me mindful of my activity! Thank you!
I successfully completed my 10K with no injury!!
My goal was training for and then running a 10k, which I totally did! And I beat my goal time by 16 seconds! Woohoo!
I ran 7.5 miles today and reached my goal. But best of all I started off on the right track during the entire holiday season and feel really good about that
8 Mile run scheduled today…Didn’t make goal due to having a minor surgery.
Quick crossfitish workout with push-ups, air squats and clean press. May squeeze in a short run before dinner.
I didn’t hit my goal … But today is a five miler. 🙂 that is awesome how you can stay in Florida longer!
I did awesome-I hit 100 miles today-which was my goal! 8.5 sweaty TM miles! I also have kept up w/ my PiYo-which was another goal!
My goal was 80 miles for the month, and I’m at 138! Killed it 🙂
I don’t buy wine very often, but when I do, it’s totally based on the label/name. I’m class like that.
6 miles today and then I’ll be at 100 miles for the month! My goal! (It was a little harder than I thought it would be if I’m being honest.)
i think i hit my goal – yay! =)
Finally hit my goal of 4 runs this week! The last 3 weeks I only got in 3 per week, but I’m still calling Pile on the Miles a success for me 🙂 thanks for getting me out there Monica!
My goal was 100 miles for the month. I managed that and a bunch more!
I pretty much met the goal. Another rest day tho cause I’m still sick.
6 mile run. The sun is out and it’s a warm 40 degrees. Yay!
Was planning on a 10km run but only ended up doing 6km due to 2 feet of snow and -27 degrees. Freezing. (That’s -16F!!!!)
Reached my goal of being active a minimum five days a week (I usually was for six). Feeling great!
Sadly I didn’t reach my goal due to some issues with my back.
Gym day for me
Did pretty great!
Goal was to run 200 miles in November…. I reached 239!!
Today I ran a solid 13 with my running buddy. Everything is so much better when you have a friend to bitch with!
I definitely met my goal of running 3x/week and doing strength the other days!!
I did not reach my goal due to injury but am pleased with how active I was for November with injury, a week at Disney world and many in house guests. I’ll take it!
I put in 8mi and some weights to start the weekend!
