Pile on the Miles Day 8!! Are you rocking it? Need some motivation?

Check out this quote from Prefontaine that I love…

“Most people run a race to see who is fastest. I run a race to see who has the most guts.” – Steve Prefontaine

I’m keeping it short and sweet today because yesterday was so long and I’m got a stack of work (and dirty Running Clothes ) to deal with.

Here’s some running motivation to keep ya going…

Runner Tips from Lauren – @breathedeeplyandsmile

If you could give another runner ONE tip – what would it be?
‘Listen to your body. What works for others may not work for you.’

What do you do when you feel like quitting? Have a mantra?
‘I repeat my mantra “Stronger than you know”’

What’s your secret to staying motivated?
‘Continue to set goals for yourself but also set small rewards for those tougher days to get motivated i.e. treat yourself to a coffee and donut after an early morning run or tell yourself to at least workout for 10 minutes.’

Definitely agreeing with her on listening to your body. It’s so important because we’re all different and have different physical needs. 🙂
