This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The North Face. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hello! How’s it going? This is super super weird, but it’s actually raining in Orange County. What?! The sky is falling!!!

So Vegas and I are chilling at home. He likes when I stick around so he can ignore me.

Since it’s rainy and I have a long run tomorrow I decided to workout from the comfort of my living room. I’m bad about cross training (see Why Runners Are Lazy post) so I need to make it as easy as possible to do something other than running.

I’ve heard some great things about the North Face Mountain Athletics app. Unfortunately, it’s not available for Android phones yet. But all the workouts are available on the North Face YouTube channel –which I can still check out from my phone!

I liked this Leg Lactate workout because it involved lateral moves which is a good switch up for runners. I don’t have a sand bag so I just jumped over my foam roller (across the skinny part so I wouldn’t trip).

This was a good Core Circuit too.

It always stinks when they don’t have the app on Android! I’ll still check out the YouTube channel, but I hope they add the app to the Play Store soon!

I’m trying not to be such a slave to gym machines anymore. I just tried the core workout featured on the post And liked it! It’s time to branch out to new and different workouts!

It’s so nice to have someone else tell you what to do for a workout!

I feel the same way! I don’t mind working out, I mind thinking sometimes though 🙂 Ha!

Mostly on the street but today I’ll be hitting up the dread mill at the gym on my lunch break because I couldn’t get up this morning to run before work and I only plan on 2-3 miles which is lunch hour doable 🙂

I have an Android too – I’ll have to check out the YouTube videos.
I workout at the gym. If I stay home, I won’t work out – I’ll sit on the couch and watch reality tv.

I’ve been working out at home a lot lately due to our crazy schedule.

I should check out that app. I have been pretty unmotivated lately. I am getting my food in better shape though. I have been s-l-o-w-l-y getting through the eating intuition book, not because I don’t find it interesting, I find it hard to find time to read. It is in my bag though, so maybe again this evening during soccer practice.

I actually did a strength workout last night! I had compiled all my excuses not to on my cycle home, but I made myself do it. Why do I hate it so much??

I’ll check out the app 🙂

I prefer to run outdoors and on the trails but I love getting strength training in at Body Pump class. Thanks for the suggestions.
