Hi. My cat is trying to kill me, or at least sabotage my entire life. So if you don’t like cats you should skip this post. But if you don’t like me you should read it because Vegas doesn’t like me either and you can enjoy my suffering…
First the other night he tried to sabotage my 24 Day Challenge by sleeping on the daily guide. I let it go because I figured he just wanted me to get my mind off of it for a bit.
This morning he was creeping on my breakfast… yes, maybe I used too much PB and ate some out of the jar. Don’t judge me cat.
He criticized my make-up application techniques. And suggested I learn how to contour.
When I tried to tell him to back off he sharpened his claws in a menacing manner…
And when I was about to throw out the yoga mat he destroyed this weekend he sat on it and looked at me like he dared me to do something about it.
Luckily he sleeps for 23 hours a day so I was able to get a lot of work done and enjoy a quiet dinner at home.
I am really excited about my latest Stitchfix delivery. I haven’t tried anyone on yet, but I love 4 of the 5 pieces on sight.
I also got some supplies for meal prepping that I’m super excited about! Stay tuned for that.
I thought he was coming to cuddle with me on the couch right now.
But he rubbed his face on my mug and spilled HOT tea on my lap.
Then, he does this thing where he sleeps in the most adorable way so I forgive and forget.
Oddly, I prefer dogs to cats. And I prefer any animal who doesn’t give me dirty looks and burn me to one that does. But he’s cute so I’ll keep him (unless you want him).
I don’t know how one could choose one over the other. I love both cats and dogs.

Hahaha I love the photo of him with the “angry” face by your makeup! My cat is kind of psycho when it comes to food. She tries to eat everything I’m eating and she won’t let me cook in the kitchen without trying to trip me up. She’s crazy.
IF cats didn’t throw up hair balls they would be THE “cat’s MEOW!”but seriously….gross.
On the other hand, dogs take more work….we have 2 cats and a dog….at this point I am ready to get rid of all of them.

Your cat’s disapproving looks are hilarious. Dogs are awesome, but a lot of work. Cats kind of do their own thing. My husband is allergic to both, so instead, we have leezards, which are fun but a little less cuddly. 🙂

Dogs make you feel loved and wanted. Cats make you feel like you’re a big bother to them. Gimme a dog or three any day!

Dogs are okay, but cats FTW. Usually. Last night our kitty knocked over my glass of red wine all over our carpet. Thank goodness we have dark carpet. I WAS SO MAD. Wine up in Canada is only a bazillion $$$$ per glass. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing away and I told my husband to get me a drink, a strong one. Wine night turned into vodka night pretty fast. Ahhh cats. Gotta love ’em.
Love this post! My cat and yours could be twins, both in look and actions. Long ago, I *donated* my yoga mat to my Linus the cat. Now we can yoga happily together 🙂 Really enjoying having just discovered your site!

I have a cat Max, he’s going to be 16 and pretty sure he thinks he’s the ruler of the world. Knows he runs the house and loves to empty all the counter space of EVERYTHING no matter how many times you tell him to beat it! Also scares the dogs on a regular bases, well known for he’s gentle head butts that turn violent with a single tooth ending up in your forehead. Max also thinks he’s a dog and tries to walk or run with us!!! Cats a weird (and scary)
I have three cats! I really love two of them! the middle one- not so much. She is a big mean beast of a cat. She loves my husband and will sit on his lap and give him kisses and rub her face on his and purr and make little noises. I try to pet her and she tries to claw me!!
This is a cute naughty cat. But if he keeps taking liberties with your tea and you keep spilling it on your laptop, then the days of the laptop are numbered. 🙂
