StitchFix Review Fashion Delivery Box 4

Hello! Here is my latest StitchFix Delivery Review.

stitchfix review fashion blog 1

I didn’t review my last StitchFix box in it’s entirety because I had my little brother take pictures and they were all blurry and/or random. Ha!

My StitchFix Delivery #2 was okay – I liked the tops, but didn’t like the way they fit.

My first StitchFix was good and I regret not keeping more of it. I have ‘returner’s remorse’ over the green jeans, but I didn’t feel fashionable enough to wear them. Bah!

I love the Striped Cowl Neck Dress from this fix and wore it in Portland. It’s super comfortable and easy to wear.

This is the Lydia Floral Print Key-Hole Blouse. I wore this one right away too. I like when you can just pair a top with jeans some earrings and go.

stitchfix review 2 (800x600) (600x800)

The June Polka Dot Skirt is adorable. It fit perfectly, which isn’t always the case with my bootie.

I haven’t worn the Mylee Tulip Hem Skinny Jeans yet, but kept them. I like the fit and they seem to be made of quality material and will be warmer than my other cheap jeans.

I also received a pair of earrings that weren’t really cha-cha enough for me, but I gave them to a friend. It was really like they were free since you get 25% off if you buy all of the items!! Boom.

I love that you don’t have to keep anything if you don’t like it, so I don’t feel like it’s a big risk. The styling fee is $20.00 and that goes to anything you buy – as long as you buy one piece the service is free.

It took a few fixes for me to figure out what to say on my style profile to get good stuff for me. I updated my preferences on the styles after the first few and I think that helped a lot.

Tips for getting a great StitchFix Delivery

If there is a celebrity whose style you LOVE – name them on your profile. I said Miley Cyrus so I’m hoping to get bootie shorts and a wrecking ball necklace next.*

Pin-it! Pin stuff you love and link your Pinterest style board to your profile.

Update it before each fix with upcoming events you have on your calendar – vacation, presentation, party…

Check out StitchFix here.

(*I didn’t really say that on my profile and do want to find a celeb’s style to emulate so I’m on the hunt now.)

Question: On a scale of 1 to 10 – 1 being tragic and 10 being a fashion icon,

How fashionable are you?

I have never bought my whole fix. There always seems to be something that doesn’t fit properly or I just don’t like. I’m working on stitch fix like #7 or 8 now. This month they sent me 5 dresses. I loved them all but 2 of them would not zip up…the zippers were weird. I’m feeling a little discouraged. I’m thinking of canceling but it is so much fun to get the package every month. What to do? what to do?
    thanks for letting me babble…

I would definitely write – This didn’t zip up!! on the feedback/return page. And be really specific in the notes on what didn’t fit and why. I tried to update my fix after I got white jeans with “I would NEVER wear this” so it wouldn’t happen again.

It’s too bad they don’t do plus-size Fixes. I’ve been wanting to join them for a while, but nothing will fit so I don’t bother. 🙁

I need a stylist and wardrobe makeover! Apart from pairing running gear, I’m a total klutz.

On the 1-10 scale, my Pinterest style board would suggest that I am a 9. In real life, I’m probably around the 4-5 mark. Sadly I haven’t quite figured out the perfect style for my 5’0″ frame (especially since I have next to no money at the moment).

But for street style inspiration, I love Rachel Bilson (yay for a fellow shortie!) and Jessica Alba.

Details about the tulip gem jeans. Do you feel that they for true to size? Do they stretch? I have very muscular (think cross fit quads) legs and have the hardest time finding a good jean. These look so cute!

Yes, they are stretch. I think they’re either true to size or actually run big, I’ve gained some weight and the sizing for these still works for me.

I’ll give myself a few points for recognizing good fashion but when I assess my wardrobe, its 80% workout clothes and pyjamas and I wear the same 2 pairs of jeans all the time…I think I’m veering towards train wreck

I’m probably a solid 2. If I’m not in running clothes, I’m in either PJs or jeans and a tee shirt. Laaaaaazy.

In my head I’m super fashionable. I know what looks good and want to wear trendy things…my body type just gets in the way. Blah. So I pretty much exist in yoga pants.

Let’s see…I think I am a 3–is wearing running clothes iconic? How about if I have a dress up outfit that may include yoga pants?

My good friend just mentioned that she signed up for this! I can’t wait to see what she gets – I’m almost tempted to sign up too – I just have such a hard frame to dress – booty, broad shoulders (I lift!). So fun though to try on stuff you wouldn’t normally pick! Hate you have return remorse – green jeans sound awesome!

I’m not that fashionable in the current trend sense but I do have a specific style that I think works best for me. I LOVE mini boot cut jeans (Lucky makes my favorites) i happen to have a very straight figure because i have narrow hips but a thick middle. And I’ve got big boobs so i try to help with my proportions. (I’m short too!) I also tend to choose florals and other all-over patterns rather than solids. I love color and being sort of hippy and free spirited. But when it comes to the feet I tend to wear running sneakers way too much. lol!
