Buying Drinks Based on The Name

Hello! How are you doing? I’m going to hang out in Florida for a few more days.

Yesterday I hit up the store for some foods and spotted this wine that sounded right up my alley. Does anyone else buy wine based on the name?

cheap white wine (600x800)

There was a lot of delicious leftovers and pie throughout the day. I love Thanksgiving.

Last night I wore my new super soft cape coat to a bonfire. A lot of people at the party gave me compliments on it and I got a few questions via instagram on it.

It’s not from Stitchfix – as many of you asked.

Actually Ben bought it for me randomly in South Dakota at a small shop. It’s super warm and comfy and I’m probably going to live in it now! This white cape coat is similar.

Speaking of things I dig based on the name… Ginga ninja!

2 gingers for 1 ginger (600x800)

But, I ended up enjoying an “adult” hot chocolate instead.

This morning I headed out for a run. It is GORGEOUS here and I’m soaking up every minute.

Then, I made all the food for breakfast. I was HUNGRY.

I’m headed out for some speedwork. I’ve done ok this month. I had to change things up a little bit but it wasn’t because I got lazy. I started the month as I was in marathon recovery mode and I think I took things too hard at the beginning, so I needed a little extra rest time by mid month. It wasn’t my original plan but I think it was the right decision for my body.

I tried out the very fancy gym that I won a free month’s membership to at a function last month. Did 60 minutes on the elliptical and the worst 10 minutes of my life on one of those giant stairclimber machines. This is how fancy this gym is: they have staff members walking around to offer you fresh towels while you work out!

My overall goal for the month was to accumulate 10k steps every day plus get in a workout 6 days out of the week. I just need to get in a run later today and tomorrow to meet my goal!

Did 6 miles total this morning. 4 mile run with a 2 mile walk. Love running on the beach. It’s going to be hard going back to MI. I didn’t reach my goal, mostly based on the horrible weather at home but I feel good that I kept moving and added in other ways to enjoy Thanksgiving without adding weight.

6 mile run this morning. My goal was 150 miles for the month…I did about 125. Close…but not quite. I will try for the 150 again this month. That should keep me running and eating right during the holiday season!

My goal apparently was a little too extreme….20,000 steps per day. Yeah….I failed. BUT I kept moving and did not gain any weight in November. that’s a win!!

I ran a really good turkey trot 5k this morning! Partially because it was so cold, I wanted to be done before i event started. I think I hit my goal for the month. I dropped my average mile time down a good amount and kept really active throughout the month!
