Better Than Nothing

Breakfast

16 Dec

Today was a rest day from running for me, and Ben wants to start exercising regularly. We only had about 20 minutes today before he had to start getting ready for work, but that’s better than nothing! So, we went for it and spent 20 minutes on the elliptical 🙂

If you only have a little bit of time to work out – go for it! You’ll be happy that you did something over nothing.IMG_3259

I made french toast on cinnamon raisin bread for breakfast. I’ve been craving nut butters like crazy so I used a big dollop of it 🙂IMG_3265

OJ in a champagne glass 🙂IMG_3266

I am going to put on all my clothes and take a walk. It.is.Freezing.

Santa Speedo Run – These people wear nothing but speedos or bikinis for this race. They are braver than I…

I agree. It’s much better to do a little of something than a lot of nothing!

I wish I could fully embrace that attitude of “something is better than nothing”. I hate hurrying through a workout. I like to take my time and feel how my body works.

I absolutely agree!! It’s better to do 20 min. than nothing. I should really get an elliptical machine or treadmill for the house. But the good ones are SO expensive!

20 minutes is definitely better than nothing! You can work up a good sweat in 20 minutes! good for you two for being healthy together 🙂

It’s freezing here too! I’m wearing snow boots and it’s 22 degrees and sunny!

I always skip it if I don’t have “enough” time, but you’re right. Thanks for the reminder 🙂

    1. That OJ in a champagne glass would be so easy to turn into a mimosa…

    2. Could never do a bikini run with my ample endowments. I guess that gives me a good excuse. 🙂

20 minutes is better than ZERO!

I do 20 minutes of light work on the arc/elliptical on my recovery days – I feel like it keeps me on schedule and loosens things up? But maybe I am crazy!

Thanks for reminding me that something is better than nothing! My dad is staying with us tonight so I have to spend most of the night cleaning our apt., but that doesn’t mean I can’t stop at the gym and do something before I get home! 🙂
