I love a holiday themed dessert so I made these easy popsicles in RED, WHITE and BLUE (strawberry, coconut and blueberry) for a fun patriotic take on a classic summer treat. I’m usually a blueberry girl, but I think the coconut ended up being my favorite!
I used low fat vanilla yogurt made with Real California Milk for all three popsicle flavors. You can use plain yogurt if you’d like them a lil more tart. And look for the Real California Milk seal when shopping for your ingredients, I appreciate that they’re sustainably sourced.
DIY Popsicles are easier to make with a few common kitchen tools, but you don’t need these items. First, a blender – any standard kitchen blender works great since we’re just mixing fruit and yogurt.
And you need popsicle molds (ice trays or paper cups can also work). I use these silicone popsicle molds that make it super easy to pop the ‘sicle right out.
The recipes below will make four to six of each flavor. So make sure you have at least 12 popsicle molds or make them in batches.

Tips for making great homemade popsicles:
- Use silicone molds – they pop out very easily and are easy to clean
- Use low fat or full fat Real California yogurt for a creamier popsicle
- Freezing dulls the sweetness so taste it before you freeze and add more honey if needed
- Make sure there are no air bubbles in the popsicles by tapping the filled molds on the counter or using a utensil to stir them out
- Place popsicles in a plastic baggie and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks
