In honor of National Pumpkin Day I did a few very important things…
1. Ate pumpkin until my hair turned orange…

2. Dressed up my dog like a pumpkin.

3. Called my cat “Pumpkin” all day.
He ignores me no matter what I call him unless there is deli turkey meat in my hand so I don’t know if he likes the new name or not.

4. Sipped a Pumpkin Protein Shake (I basically just add canned pumpkin, extra sweetener and pumpkin pie spice to a vanilla protein shake).

Here are some of my favorite Pumpkin Recipes and treats…

2. Low calorie treat option… Pumpkin Spice tea.

5. Easy (and healthy) pumpkin snack – Pumpkin Spice Roll Ups

8. No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake <- why have I not made this recently?! I feel like it seems fancy, but isn’t really.
And I need your vote on this one since I haven’t tried them yet – the new Pumpkin O’s from Trader Joes, thoughts?

The pumpkin O’s are good but super sweet, I think the sweetness over powers the pumpkin spice flavor
i used to hate pumpkin (the texture is awful) but the flavor has grown on me now. as long as its not pumpkin pie, im down to try it 🙂
The pumpkin O’s are good, but a little too sweet in my opinion; think more fancy fruit loops. I crumbled a small handful and to put on top of my yogurt!
I made your pumpkin granola and LOVE it!! I’ll probably make some more tonight. 🙂
My personal favorite pumpkin recipe is pumpkin bread. LOVE IT! Not too crazy about Dunkin Donuts pumpkin spice any beverage because it’s too sweet. But I love just about every other pumpkin anything.
I know that I’m in the minority but the only pumpkin thing that I like is….Pumpkin Pie.
I LOVE pumpkin season!!! TJ’s Pumpkin O’s are delish!! They taste like tiny puffs of pumpkin deliciousness..and they’re lighter than traditonal cheerios, a must try for any pumpkin lover 🙂
The Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s are amazing. I have been buying two boxes at a time (on a weekly basis) since I tried my first bite.
I love pumpkin, but we don’t have anywhere near the range of food here in England that you guys have. I couldn’t even buy the spice mix in a regular supermarket, even a huge one.
There must be pumpkin coffee about though. I mean – I live/work in London!! It is now my mission to find this before the end of the week.
On the plus side, I have the orange hair thing down 🙂
The Pumpkin Os are great. I went through like 3 boxes in no time.
Not a huge fan of pumpkin stuff. I just like cinnamon and nutmeg. =)
Oh damn this post made me VERY hungry! Your poor dog! We don’t really do the whole pumpkin thing herein the UK but I may go get a PSL in your honour!
Thanks for the recipes. Still can’t get enough this time of year!
I really like the Trader Joe’s pumpkin O’s…but they kinda hurt the roof of my mouth…
