Today I’m sharing my running playlist for January. Chime in with your favorite songs below!

running playlist for january

I’m not cool. Let’s get that out there first. But I still get tons of questions on what music I listen to while running. Lately I’ve been listening to Pandora on my phone (and  my new watch allows me to switch songs without having to grab my phone outta my Spibelt I love it).

When I’m not on the Pan-D I look up my favorite songs on YouTube or something to listen to them as a warm up (read: I dance around before my run to these tunes). So I’ve decided to compile a list of my favorite running songs for this month. I am obsessed with all of the following…

You stole 4,5 and 6 from my list. I’d add fetty’s 679. And for some reason I can’t get the song “No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame circa 2011 out of my head and off the list. <—-all not for young ears but fun to run to.

I grabbed a couple of these for my playlist. Thanks, Monica!!! My new favorites are Let’s Go (feat. Ne-Yo) by Calvin Harris, Good Feeling by Flo Rida, and Lose Yourself by Eminem. I, too, have an extremely eclectic playlist featuring all kinds of genres. And, seriously how can Pitbull not dominate anyone’s playlist? His music really makes you want to MOVE!

I love Roses by The Chainsmokers, Lean On by MO, Firestone by Kygo… and so many more, anything with a good beat really!

My friends make fun of me and say my workout playlist is depressing. I have some slower songs on there but it’s more about the feels they give, not so much the beat or the speed of the song! Sometimes I run harder while listening to Adele. It’s just true.

Style by T-swift for some reason has just really clicked with my speedwork pace, so that’s been my January jam. 🙂 (I am also not cool)

If running and I weren’t on a break, I would be able to share mine. I also love the running feature on Spotify. It’s so great!

I may steal some of these to add into my teaching playlists. Those things take waaaay longer than you’d think to make!
