Hello! How is Pile on the Miles going? I had a rest day from running so I took a walk and then headed to the gym for a strength class. I am officially obsessed with one particular class. Now I need to find another good one for Thursdays and my marathon training plan will be pretty well rounded.
So for Pile on the Miles I did a 3 mile walk. Done and done. What did you do?

Post-gym I was a little bit horrified to see that my bee sting looks like a third nipple and everyone behind me in class was probably grossed out. Ugh. That is embarrassing. But I’ve done more embarrassing things in my life so I think I’ll survive ‘the 3rd nipple of 2015 crisis’.

Breakfast was tamales with a runny eggs on top. This is the BEST way to enjoy ‘em!

I also had a pretty awesome snack plate in the afternoon. Trader Joe’s is the best place to round up a good snack plate since their cheeses and nuts are moderately priced.

Vegas went MIA this afternoon, but I should have realized that he just found a new snoozing spot. I actually felt like taking a nap today too. Yesterday it was the Benadryl but I don’t know what my excuse was today. Get it together Monican! I think that third nip is sucking out my life force.

In happy news, it’s gorgeous here but getting a little chill in the air finally. Fall weather is finally here so I think I can actually start putting together my capsule wardrobe. It was still so hot last week I’ve still been wearing maxi dresses and tanks. But it might be time to bust out the jeans.

Ran 4 miles
Love seeing Vegas in your suitcase…just like a cat. haha Anyways, I think I’ve accomplished 1/2 my goal for the week (and I still got 2 more days I think). Tuesday was a bad, bad day (it appears the downstairs tenant stole $80 worth of my packages)….so I went walking on the beach (my goal). So I got some exercise in but even the beach couldn’t bring my spirits up. Maybe the next time I walk the beach it will be better.

Tempo run. 8 miles total. 6 @ 7:35 tempo. Enjoying 78 degrees in Michigan!!
I taught 32 children 🙂 I then followed that up with an epic boot camp which included squats, burpees and sprints.
I run 7 km today!
walked 2 miles (to/from gym), ran 4.74 miles on the treadmill then went to insanity class. hard day, tired body, but fun!
7 tempo miles today! I was supposed to do 800s, but it was really windy, and by the time I got motivated it was too late to drive to a flat area. I thought a tempo run was a good compromise
POTM: I was actually able to get in some activity today. I didn’t try to walk as was my plan, I did some yoga, stretching and body weight movements! Yay!

My goal is run 4x a week. Ran yesterday and will run again on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (I´m counting it as part of this week!)

Day four of vacation and I think all of the hustle and bustle has caught up with me. Some walking the sights, but resting otherwise!

Second of three days of moving! I went to the gym this morning before work and I’m going to Zumba with my mom after work.

Bee sting are the worst! And they are sooooo itchy. I got stung on my butt 2 miles into a 5 mile run 🙁
I also downloaded the app Charity Miles, which donates 25 cents for every mile you walk or run. So my 30 a week will also help some animals too.
Speaking of which, yesterday on my 6.5 miler found a gray sweetheart of a cat who walked along with me for a bit. I think she’s an outdoor cat but I’m going to check because if not I’m taking her home!
I woke up with the worst headache, but I still managed 2 miles towards my 20 mile goal. I have 9 miles down . Not too bad!
Hmmm………suit case that Vegas is sleeping in looks like it might have boy clothes……….and there was that knock on the door that you mentioned the other day so i’m guessing someone is visiting!
POTM – 3 miles this morning. I’ll walk the dog for a mile later as well! I decided to track my steps in addition to my 110 mile goal this month so I’m excited to see what those add up to. I’m obsessed with my fitbit!
I ran 4 miles today! I figured out my marathon training schedule yesterday and at the same time decided on a workout schedule that goes from now until the marathon training starts. I’m excited!
Tapering for a 70.3 I haven’t trained for means I only had to run 3.7 miles. Cold and post rainy. Fall has arrived in southern utah too.
Today I am going to crossfit and running there and back- 2 miles.

I will have to wait and see how much chaos is thrown at me today if I’ll need to have an evening run to prevent any lashing out (energy spent in running is safer!)

Oh, Vegas!! LOL I love your cat. Benadryl knocks me on my ass for three days, every time! Give yourself time, you’ll bounce back!
I’ve done three consecutive days of exercise (gym and walking) and have been hitting or exceeding my 10,000 step goal every day!
It dropped to 15 degrees and our 5 inches of snow is now slick ice so I stuck with my new motto “change is good!” And am riding the bike trainer on my TT bike in the living room with my furry friend under my feet while catching up on my Bloglovin’ thanks for the goal/plan/accountability!!!
Today’s workout is a 3 mile run!
Ran 5 miles today! It was so gorgeous outside so I couldn’t force myself to run on the treadmill. I ended up running to the gym, doing a strength workout, and then running home! All in all, it worked out great 🙂

I love the capsule wardrobe idea, and I’m totally giving it a whirl. I’ve done the whole take everything out of my closet. I got rid of 5 bags of clothes/shoes/purses, most of which I haven’t used in the last 6 months! So far, so good but since it’s my first go around, I feel like I still have quite a bit to learn.
