Hello! How’s it going? Over here it’s going good. Just running and eating and forcing my friends to come over and take pictures of me for my blog like a weirdo as my neighbors wonder ‘what the heck…’.
Oh well.
I’m excited to share this StitchFix Review with you because while I didn’t keep everything, I loved the three things I did keep. It was just like a stylist picked them out for ME (hello, the point of the whole thing actually working).
First the dress I put on right when I got my box…
Tart Chenille Watercolor Print Dress
My favorite part is the back. Love the cut! This does make it difficult to wear a strapless bra with it so I bought a stick on bra like this one to wear.
I sent back these two tops. The floral one was too flow-y and not flattering at all. The black/white tank was too black and white
My second favorite piece from this month’s StitchFix delivery was this Tart Sinah French Terry Ruched Dress.
This is the best because it’s super comfy and flattering. I love that my StitchFix stylist always sends me something of the body con variety. Oddly, it’s NOT that I like to wear tight clothes or show my curves but I have realized that body hugging cuts flatter my body a lot more than loose things.
I used to refuse to wear anything body hugging because it made me so self conscious. But, after looking at pics of myself in loose or flow-y dresses I realized it made me look heavier. So, now I just go with it.
The third piece I kept was this Sanctuary Lace Detail Tank. I love a pop of lace so this was a winner all the way.
Check out the super cute leopard flats I’m wearing too! They’re my new favorite thing. These are similar but not peep toe. These have the open toe but I’m not in love with the pattern as much.
Also, I love that StitchFix sends me a follow up email after I’ve received my box to ask what I want to keep/send back. I get so many deliveries (and am so random) it’s easy to forget and I appreciate it being so easy breezy!
Question: What are you wearing? (yes, I’m totally saying it in a creepy voice too)
Katie says
You look great .I love that black and white dress!! Do you know where I could buy it from?
Emily says
Excellent choice, madam! I love the back on the watercolor dress, too!
I’m rocking the maternity pants these days. Sexy. BUT I did request an accessories-only fix last month, and loved it! Since I can only rock big-belly clothes right now, it was fun to get some jewelry and stuff to mix it up.
runeatrepeat says
That is a good tip! I have a friend who put her Fixes on hold until after she delivers – but that’s a good idea I’ll pass along to her.
Nicole @ Fitful Focus says
You look BOMBshell gorgeous in that black and white dress! Love it! It’s fall weather here in NYC so I’m in jeans, a burnt orange Free People shirt with embellished sleeves, and boots! With an umbrella on the side for the rain – whomp whomp!
Angela @ HonestlyAngela says
That black and white dress looks so good on you! I am with you on the loose, flow-y clothing. My body has changed since I had a baby and it is no longer flattering at all! My problem is that it’s all I feel like wearing. I think I need to relearn how to dress myself ☺
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious says
Love those outfits! Girl…you said you didn’t like your legs in that one post. I think you look great!
Sheena says
Super cute keeps this month! Also, a million times jealous that you can wear those pasty bras. A million times jealous.
Maria says
nice “fixes”! I wish I could justify using Stitch Fix because they have so many cute outfits, but I rotate between a uniform for work and running clothes after work 🙂 Right now I’m wearing jeans, running shoes, a lululemon tank & my Chicago Marathon ’13 hoodie. Gotta love “Casual Thursdays!”
Daisy @ Fit Wanderlust Runner says
I keep reading your reviews and I must say I am loving a lot of their selections! I hate shopping so if someone else does it for me then kudos to them. Right now I own more scrubs and workout clothes than regular clothing 🙁
Jack Sh*t says
I’m wearing a button-down white business shirt and my pants are… DAMMIT, WHERE ARE MY PANTS?
Paola @ Do It With Heart says
I actually love the too black and white shirt! haha
The first dress looks awesome too, love the back and it looks perfect to just throw on and go.
Nothing fun on the clothing over here though, jeans and tshirt for work
Shawna says
that black and white dress looks great on you. i totally get what you’re saying, as body-hugging dresses and skirts look better on me, too — small chest, smaller waist and muscley butt-thigh girls seem to be able to rock those looks better than flowy ones, i think. i’m sort of obsessed with anything open back and love any excuse to not wear a bra. those things suck. 🙂
Katie @ Talk Less, Say More says
You ROCK those dresses, girl! They both look absolutely gorgeous on you!
Ashley @ Kick Ash Mom.com says
That second dress is amazing. I couldn’t wear the first one, my boobs would be hanging way too low. I often wonder what my neighbors think of me when I take my food outside and snap a million pictures of it
Sue says
I love the back of the first dress too!
Janelle @ Wholly Healthy says
That second dress is hot!
tess says
Love the second dress. It looks great on you. And yes…your reviews always make me want to try Stitchfix. Procrastination I suppose.
Eugenia Byrne says
Monica, just wanted to say how great you look in all 3. You really look like you have gotten in even better shape over the past few months. You really look beautiful.
I am in the most unflattering outfit-a tank top with yogurt and toothpaste all over it because apparently I can’t eat or brush my teeth, and some ugly shorts and slippers .
runeatrepeat says
Ha! I somehow always get lotion on myself.
Carrie (This Fit Chick) says
I adore the first dress! Super cute photos 🙂 Right now I am wearing my boyfriend’s big shirt that I sleep in, haha!
runeatrepeat says
Comfy conquers all!
Tricia says
Cute picks! I’m obsessed with the first dress! I really need to sign up for this service!!!
runeatrepeat says
Thanks! If you do it try to link to your pinterest (if you have a fashion page) that helps them get ideas.
Mave says
You look hot, girl!!! I am wearing pj’s. Woot!
Kelly M says
I’m wearing a tank and shorts. Just got out of the shower after running so I’m slumming. Love your fix this time! I started getting stitch fix after seeing it on your blog and I love it! I get so excited when I see the box on my porch when I get home!
runeatrepeat says
Me too! I was having a bad day and then got excited when I saw my box waiting for me 🙂

Your style is very unique compared to other people I’ve read stuff from.
Thank you for posting when you’ve got the opportunity, Guess I’ll just bookmark this site.
Carlee says
Cute stuff! I’m too frugal (okay, just plain cheap) to do it, but glad they are finally getting it right for you!
Natalie @ Never Serious Blog says
Those dresses! Love them both!
And I’m wearing a giant tshirt because #PJs
Charlotte says
I think you’re right. The final dress is gorgeous on you. It’s not skin-tight. It’s flattering on your curves and makes your legs look great.
JE @ Wandering Portlander says
I’m wearing my pajama pants and my button down top from work. What can I say? I’m too lazy to find a t-shirt.
cheryl says
I am wearing Athleta “everyday” sweats, and my school “coach’s shirt”–very stylish. But hey, they are my “good” sweatpants!
Good choices! I don’t have many opportunities to dress up, but I am OK with that!
Heather @ Run Eat Play says
Love the dresses! They look great. I love the back on the first dress!
Kristin says
I’m wearing purple shorts and a gamecocks hoodie. SoOo exciting. My cat is also on my lap, so does he count as an article of clothing?
runeatrepeat says
He’s an accessory 🙂
Becky @ Ok, so here's the plan says
I’m already in my PJs – yoga pants and a tank top. Comfy!
You keep making me want to try StitchFix out even though I’m pretty much a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl.
Kelly says
Thise dresses look great on you! I’m wearing a pair of capri sweats that came from Fabletics and a race t-shirt. So creative.
Gretchen says
Wow Monica that bodycon dress looks incredible on you! Work it! I just got done running so I’m in super stylinish spandex capris and a race t shirt- HOTT
runeatrepeat says
Thank you! And what you’re wearing right now is my usual uniform 🙂
Sally @ sweat out the small stuff says
I have a pink hoodie and jeans on. I’m so boring.
runeatrepeat says
Hoodies rock, boring or not 🙂
