How’s your day going?
First off – Breaking Bad.
What did you think about it?!
I was sad about the whole interaction with Walt and Skylar. They must still love each other on some level. I was happy for Jesse though! Lydia – did you see that coming? (I wish we could actually discuss these things!)

Dessert while watching…
Moving on.
I started my morning with a 7 mile run that took an hour exactly. Thought that was fun And capped it off with some easy ab work while watching the morning news.
Breakfast was a big piece of the Apple Pie Bars I made last night. It’s a little too crumbly so I’m going to make a few tweaks before posting the recipe.
Lunch will involve a bunch of Zevia! Thanks!!
I seriously cannot believe it’s September 30th! And the rest of the year is going to fly by since I’m so busy.
September 2013 Highlights
Favorite RUN
The one with the Manatee! Running in Florida is rough, but totally worth it since I saw a manatee last weekend!!
Favorite EAT
Cucumber Mint Juice – so easy, so delicious, so healthy.

Question: What was your BEST day in September?
Sarah G. says
Totally did not see the Lidia part coming but SO happy it happened that way. Also, loved Jesse getting his revenge on Todd… even though I kinda loved Todd in a weird way all season. It just had to happen. I also LOVE Badger and Skinny Pete so it was awesome to see them one last time!
Kailin @ Logs and Thoughts says
I went to the zoo in September. Hadn’t been in a couple years, and the day we went a new walk-through kangaroo exhibit opened. It made me feel like a kid again 🙂
Jessica says
My boyfriend and I (for the most part) worked out what would happen and who would die in the finale thanks to Badger and Skinny Pete’s Star Trek story! We decided that it was far too long and detailed not to mean anything so we dissected it before we watched the finale (we rewatched the whole show beforehand and so picked up on a lot of stuff missed the first time around) and we were able to guess who each Star Trek character was meant to represent 😀 xo

I can’t wait for that apple pie bar recipe!
I think my favourite day in September was when I managed to run my first 10km, I felt so proud, it’s a distance I never thought I could achieve. I celebrated by going shopping after so it was a very good day.

Hmmm… I had to google “Breaking bad’ to find out what’s it was all about! I must be the only living person who did that! Anyway, this weekend was pretty epic with the KL Marathon in town.
Emily @ Emily Rocks the Road says
Definitely my best day this September was my trip to Santa Cruz. We shall meet again, Mr. Sea Lion …
Jojo @ RunFastEatLots says
Best day was when I completed my first century ride. It was an AWESOME day and I felt great the entire 100 miles! The weather and scenery was gorgeous, too. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect day.

Loved it!!!!! They did an amazing job with it. Walter finally was honest and did the right thing for once! Also totally called that with Lydia and the stevia packet!
runeatrepeat says
Yeah! I kept wondering who the ricin was for this whole time – since he got it during the first episode. I didn’t see that coming until this episode though.
Nicole says
Uh September 25th, my Birthday. Although it wasn’t crazy exciting, without it I wouldn’t be here 😉
Taylor @ Single-tracked Mind says
Loved the finale!! I thought the Walt/Skyler scene was the best in the episode. Bittersweet but appropriate, and with closure. My best day this month was my boyfriend’s birthday! We went trail running and to a brewery. Great times.
runeatrepeat says
That does sound like a fun birthday!
Yes, the Walt/Skyler scene was so sad to me. Ugh, like after all that time they must still love each other. But they can never go back to their ‘before’ life. It’s over.

LOVED the finale! Definitely one of the best series finales I’ve seen in a long time.

Best day was definitely our wedding day 🙂 September 7!

I loved the finale, they really wrapped everything up. And I was so happy that Jesse got away. So sad when he saw Holly and Flynn though.

Moving my daughter into college. I miss her so much but she is doing great. It is great to watch your children move on to the next chapter in their lives.

9/20 hands down…it was a personal distance feat complete. 5 half marathons in 5 days in 5 states. 🙂 65.5 miles total. I felt so amazing. And the bonus was knowing I was heading home the following day to see my dog who I had missed terribly because I am a sap.
runeatrepeat says
WOW! That is amazing Sally! You rock!!

Monica, Great run this morning. pretty fast. Glad to have you back. Best day of Sept was Monday the 9th when I made the summit of Mt Whitney. I didn’t get started on Breaking Bad. I’m a True Blood fan.

You missed out! Breaking Bad was smart, I think you woulda liked it. What’s the deal for Saturday?

Ahh I loved the finale! I thought it was a perfect way to end the show.

Those bars look like heaven! My favorite day was probably when I went home and spent the whole day with my baby brother. I love family time!
Jodea @ chillichocolatelove says
Ooh, that’s a good question. I went to an afternoon tea party at my friend’s house which was great fun.
Christopher says
Now that’s how you do a finale. Talking to you Dexter.
Angela says
It’s got to be today because our episode of The Rachael Ray Show aired and I can finally tell people we won a trip to CHINA! Sometimes I look around and think, this can’t be my life!
Jen says
I loved finale. It was so Walt the way it all went down. He took care of his family and took care of the “bad guys” who could cause his family problems in the future.
I was actually surprised he didn’t take Jesse out as well, but glad he didn’t.
My best day was the 29th…ran my 3rd 1/2 in 78 days and qualified for Half Fanatics…that was my running goal this year!

Welcome to HFs! I’m #2965. 🙂

This month did fly by. I feel like it was just Labor Day right? We had a great Labor Day weekend with family, so that was my favorite day(s). The weather here (in Ohio) has made this such a great month to enjoy being outside.

My best day this month was at the weekend, on my soon-to-be-sister-in-law’s Hen Weekend. It was brilliant!
And I even managed to sneak in a wee 5k run! 😀

Ah I loved the finale! I thought it was perfectly done. My favorite day in September was my birthday 🙂 and then the day I went tubing on the river with friends. Overall a great month!
